Signature 2?
 

I think i came up with this idea just for hellsatan. Why not have a profile field or a second signature in which you can put your name so that it shows RIGHT under your psot everytime. This way everytime hellsatan posts, he cn make it so it sais "hellsatan" at the bottom of every post.

Or someone could just do this:

Its not a BAD idea and will be VERY simple to do, but as far as hellsatan goes, even he says that he puts his name after his post by force of HABIT...so he wouldnt stop even though its already there :P.

That isn't a "hack", its just a simple template mod. Matter of fact all you did was use the functionalities that are available with a right out the box vb.

I did something similar but better (i.e. BBCode parsing) on vB2 a long time ago. I don't think I ever released it though. I referred to it as Post Followers, and made it for one board.

Not sure if I still have the code, but it is useless anyways. ;)

It wouldn't matter - I have developed the habit of "signing off" my posts, and it's one I cannot seem to break :)
