PodCast Integrated?

Has anyone integrated a Podcast publishing system into VB? Looking for any examples? Ideally a script which creates a RSS feed, intot he format to create a Podcast script...

Thanks -

No, but it will not suprise me at all to see one very soon, since podcast are growing.

What would happen if a post attaches the Podcast (attaches the MP3), and that installation of vB has the RSS turned on in the admin?

Hope that made sense. :)

If anyone creates this, we'd love to hear about it!

This is integrated now integrated into vBulletin.

Do you mean vB Radio?

Caiman 01-17-2007 06:14 PM

No, you can specifiy a forum as a podcast enabled one, and when you post a new thread with your podcast attached as an attachment, it will be picked up and distributed by the RSS feed for that section. i.e. you can now publish and distribute podcasts easily via vB, specifying the meta data in the admin section.

Yes, but it is "podcast friendly"? Have not looked that much into the Vbulletin podcast/feature but it seems I will need a new thread and a new RSS-adress for each mp3-file?

I will need one RSS-address

Caiman 01-17-2007 07:26 PM

So long as you define one forum as a Podcast forum, the only RSS address you need is one for that forum, any new thread with a pdocast attached you create will then be picked up by that RSS feed, like any other Podfeed :)

Okay, Caiman. Thanks.
