Request: A beta testing team I can rely on

I am looking for four people with the following qualifications to help me test mods before I release them here. Releasing them as beta here is attracting too many novices that require more hand-holding than I can provide. I need a reliable group of experienced people who can help verifiy that the kinks are out in install instructions and install/upgrade scripts before I share my stuff here.

Qualifications: Must be a coder who has released mods for 3.5. You need to be able to understand how to read a url and a query at the very least.
Must be pretty darn active here. I don't want a lag of a day or more when I give you code.

Pay: Absolutely nothing. :D BUT, I will help you test your work in exchange. I hate writing install scripts, but I'm a great debugger ;)

Please PM me if you are interested. I'm trying to avoiding another fiasco like the userpage mod, which is making me prematurely gray and is giving me a nasty disposition ;)

Hmmm i like this idea. If enough people are interested, we could maybe even get up a team of people who want to regulary be a beta tester.

I like the idea, if you want i'll help you out. But I hope i'm not the only one. :)

great idea, sadly i'm a bit useless at the moment and not on 3.5 but good luck :)

I can help out if you like :)

I keep a permanent testboard up with pretty much 75% of all mods installed on it, so I can tell you if any conflicts come up (which they shouldn't) with other mods / hacks :)

While i consider I am quite active here, I do have a life, and there is no way I could be responding in those sort of timescales, this is a just a hobby, not a job. :)

Paul, I understand perfectly :) I'm just looking for coders as addicted as I am for this particular crew. And, thanks for the offers of help Satan and Livewire :)

And i was more posting a general idea, inpspired by Amy's request.

Well I'm here all in all about 120 hours a week (5 entire days) over the 7 day period (168 hours), so about 71-72% of the time :)

I think that counts as active :p

I'd be interested in something like this.

Right now, I can't be of any help for 3.5 mods as I am waiting for vb to move into GOLD status before I touch it.

You shouldn't wait since the code isn't going to change much. At least it will get you familar with the new code and variables.
