Highlight colour in Smooth Blue

Damnit why did it change to Red again? :(

I liked the Blue :(

Can we have a user option to select which colour we like? :)

I'd much rather have the blue than the Red :D

I liked the blue also :)

Dean C 07-17-2005 06:58 PM

Change it back to green. It hurts my eyes!

Marco van Herwaarden 07-17-2005 08:14 PM

Lol, some are never satisfied.

Ahh well it is just our slave who have to do the work.

Link14716 07-17-2005 08:37 PM

I never digged the green. :(

I'm going back to Plain Green because I have been re-introduced to the kickass red highlight.

Xenon 07-17-2005 08:57 PM

highlight is red in plain green as well Matt ;)

a useroption would be an idea, but variables in replacements isn't doable that easy, so not until 3.5 ;)

I know. Highlight is green again on Smooth Blue, and red highlight > green highlight. :p

Xenon 07-17-2005 11:15 PM

hmm, wierd ^^

Why not just turn the proper colour system back on - I really don't understand why it's disabled, no other forum does it (not even vb.com).

Link14716 07-18-2005 01:59 AM

It was disabled because people were using [color=yellow] which doesn't show up for ++++ on the green styles (back when dark blue was default). I say it should be re-enabled to give people a reason to use [high].

Personaly I don't enjoy pink text on a white backround. Ok granted most of you guys know better then that. :)

We disable color because we use so many styles, something may look fine on one style but horrible on a second.

Dream 07-18-2005 02:32 AM

I liked blue...

im not sure why you guys override all colors... even if someone uses yellow, well let the guy use yellow and be a dork... in case thats the real reason for it

Everyone else seems to manage ok ....

Xenon 07-18-2005 12:47 PM

Sorry but the past showed that users cannot use the color tag properly when there are multiple styles.

on vb.com it's no problem, because all styles are a light style, but with dark blue on vb.org it was a problem.

Snake 07-19-2005 08:19 AM

Bah I liked the blue, it was matching the skin anyway.

Chris M 07-19-2005 12:01 PM

Blue > Red > Green ;)

Bring back the Blue :p

Marco van Herwaarden 07-19-2005 12:05 PM

Blue also gave problems, then better red.

Agreed! :D

Most of us, boys, like blue and is our favorite color.

By the way, black works too! :P

Tony G 07-20-2005 04:41 AM

I don't mind the green, the blue.. well.. confused some things. ;)

twoseven 07-20-2005 01:49 PM

how did the blue confuse some things?

Xenon 07-20-2005 01:57 PM

internal things, just viewable to the staff :)

Then make the user option :p

Or better yet, have it as blue and have a conditional so that if you are a staff member it changes colour :p

it's a replacement variable, not that easy to write hacks to that sections.

ok, actually i'm just too lazy to do so ;)
