What do you think of my site? (car forums)

<a href="http://www.gmnewsline.com" target="_blank">http://www.gmnewsline.com</a>

What do you think? How can I make it better?

Your header is very nice, but those navbar buttons look very out of place. I don't know what effect you wanted there, but it isn't working. =/

I also don't see the point of having 'Latest Topics' ON the forumhome page. On a portal, yeah, but when they're on the forum, all they have to do is click on 'View New Posts' and that page is individualised from their last visit. A much more useable feature there. To me, it just takes up too much room. =/

Otherwise very nice. Like your images. :)

Looks good and clean. The "Featured car" clickable image keeps taking me back to the forum home.

They've got a few nice styles over there. How long did it take you to receive your order? And did you have to convert much language?

I prefer your 'vision_expanded' style although I think you should name it 'vision_800'
colors
style

1) replace the header buttons
2) remove the "log in" block (portal page) -- you already have one
3) the 'featured car' block dropdown links doesn't work

Jolten 07-18-2005 07:54 PM

I'd reduce the width. 1024 is too large.

CSS59 07-22-2005 01:36 AM

Thanks guys. IS the site slow for anyone?

I'll do that

What do you think I need to replace them with? Just regular vb dropdowns?

good idea

I need to finish that :)

I actually like the latest topics on the side. I think it encourages others to post. I had it when I was using vBa 1 and lost them with v2. I think I'll just wait until vB 3.5 is official.

I wanted to purchase vision also. :disappointed:

They're not. I had them when I used vBadvanced 1.x. When I went to vBadvanced v2 I lost them because I did a clean install of vB and my hacks. I never got around to reinstalling it. I may just wait for vB 3.5.

- It looks clean, well doen header with a decent choice of colors

- The top left of the header contains text (Show It Off) that im not tofond of. Perhaps this should be replaced with a logo. Also, on the header where it sais the name of your website, it would be nice to have a small picture of a car right on the text or atleast close to it.

Good points. I'll do that next.

As for the styles, I fixed them. I have a fixed 800 version, a full screen version, and a light graphics version.

How do I change the names of my styles? I want to re-naim them better

Thank for all the input guys
