It was a general request of Jelsoft to do it given they use first and last names for usernames at vB.com.

I was putting it in a PHP perspective - Xenon is the result of the mathematical calculation within PHP ;)

Just like other weird individuals are the results of that same calculation within other languages, such as Perl or C etc :p

Nah, nobody in the staff is forced to use their real names. We prefer if the real name is mentioned at least in the profile field, but it's not a requirement.

Dean had a funny name in german, I think thats the real reason he changed it.
