Hi..

This is a skin developed for vB3.5 and onwards! - it's AJAX friendly and hack friendly to! - It's a free skin based on my solidsteel skin.

Install directions are included in the zip as are all fonts, psds etc...

Very nice style. Only thing is the psd didn't have the guide lines in place, so a bit of a pain to modify the header, especially as the width and height of the images are coded in the style.

Can somebody please help me edit the header without making it messed up?

Every time I use the psd to edit "Insignia" to my forum name, there's a crack between the header bars.

Either use a smaller font, or shorten your forum name! :)

nice style although i havent got vb 3 yet it seems these 3.5 styles better than all others

allthough this style has no border graphix used as standard, there are border graphics in the images folder... is it ok to apply these brder graphics to the style?

i only ask as this makes it look very simelar to your "solid steel" skin

yeah, it's a simple table surrounding the vBulletin sections using the extra graphix, but updating those graphix (or adding tables with the extra graphix) was a bind for hacks n stuff... can be done, but often i would get questions like "the style doesn't look right with my v3 arcade" rather than sorting that out simply design a skin which looks and works well with a multitude of mods & plugins. :)

oh rite.... i have no problem adapting my mods and plugins templates etc...... the only trouble im having is adding the borders to the showthread template.... grrr

i can give you the border psd's and code i used if you want...?

Kuri, check the attached, it's the xml style for solidsteel, take the template code when you install it (designed on 3.0.6) also check the psd's for the border.

looks nice, cant understand why i have this problem with the profile boxes all being ut of lne, this is the only style i use that has this problem, any ideas how to fix it??

I don't think it's nothing to do with my skin, it's something to do with that 'Additional info' box/hack thing i can see your using for profiles, never seen that before, you have it collapseable, must be the table code for that mod buggering things up

check your forumhome template and make sure $navbar is in there.

thats un-usual, perhaps your making this a child style which uses a custom forum home template? i dunno, try installing again.

Oh lol I remember y it wont work. I installed the hack which says Welcome there x posts ect. So i just need to the hack to the insginia skin

I love this skin.. Very simple and pleasing on the eyes.. way to go.. May I ask you one thing though. Can I get the PSD for the borders as well? (as well as information about the newborder_XX.gif and replyborder_XX.gif and how I can make it look good if the "New thread" button doesn't show up. o.o
