Comp. Gon Crazy
 

I've never witnessed something like this as long as i've had my computer. When i go to sign on my AIM or when i open IE, it automatically closes. I tried to take a look at my processes and end them however, nothing seems to work. Any ideas/suggestions?

No ideas, but when I saw the title say crazy all I thought of was the crazy frog. Must have infected me :mad:

Okay...Do the following.


Trash IE. Get Firefox. :p.

Also do the following:

1. Go

and download these programs.

Firefox This handy tool is a browser much like Internet Explorer except more secure. It has way more features and is fully customizable. Tabbed browsing is the future.
Ad-Aware This program removes bad and contaminated files safely off your machine.
Spybot S&D This does the same thing as Ad-ware. It walks you through each step. It's a good idea to use both.
Avast Anti-virus It is kind of like Norton but free and just as good.

Update every program you installed ot the latest version.

After this you need to put your computer in Safe Mode (No idea? Click here) because some of the programs might be in use and might not be able to be removed normally.

Now run each of these programs once while in Safe Mode. Remove all of the bad programs, restart, and you're done.

Argueably the best operating system on the planet ;)

But while I do love linux I recognise the large-scale usage of Windows, and as such compromise by running a seperate Linux home-server :)

Just whatever you do, don't get Fedora Core 3 and DO THE FK NOT RUN IT ALONGSIDE WINDOWS! If you do, your Master Boot Record will go in ze drains and you will be unable to boot Windows.
