Updates for 3.5:
I have not had time to update all the previews for 3.5. but I've taken some time to tweak a few images, I asure you its for the best!

edit: attached a quick one.

kall 06-26-2005 01:47 AM

Nice! I was partial to the 3.0.x version of this, and this is even nicer.

*edit* Why is it that Template Mods, which could involve only changing 2 pieces of code, have INSTALL buttons, while Styles (which can take many hours of coding) do not?

Demo Created, nice work Zachery.

Very nice looking style. :) I have a question about it, hopefully you can answer it. I can't seem to find the quick edit window resize buttons. Am I blind or is it supposed to be like that?

Don't know if it's changed (guess so) but they do now :)

Nice style Zach

Tony G 06-28-2005 11:41 AM

Yeah, we changed it after a few people (including myself) suggested it. Styles are viewed as extensive modifications now. :)

In RC 2, the images for the editor buttons aren't showing up for me.

Kirk Y 08-19-2005 08:53 PM

If you notice... this style is for 3.5.0 Beta 2. Unless Zachery forgot to update the vB Version.

Yup. It was a subtle hint ;) Though it would be nice to see this updated when 3.5 goes gold.

Zachery 08-19-2005 11:48 PM

Shouldn't matter. Its all CSS.

Adrian Schneider 08-20-2005 12:07 AM

Nice style Zach.

Mr. Bone88 08-26-2005 09:00 PM

Hi Zachery,

Great style! I just installed it and have a question for you or anyone else who can help me with this. I'm new to vBulletin and I'm not sure how to make changes. Please look at the attached image. I would like to know how to make the navbar text bold? Where do I go to edit this and what code do I add to make it bold? Thanks in advance! :classic:

*Edit*

Also need to know how to make the "forum tools" and "search this forum" text bold as well. Please see both images

Thanks again,
~Mr. Bone88

Mr. Bone88 08-27-2005 05:44 PM

The problem was solved.

Yorixz 09-03-2005 02:46 PM

Thanks a lot, sexy theme :) (Confirmed to work with RC2)

MrDegree 09-18-2005 03:10 AM

Zach, can you upgrade to RC3 ? I tried to install this on RC3 but there seemed to have been an issue with the footer template, it didn't make that bottom menu blue and it would error when switching styles. Everything else seemed ok though !!

Thanks!, I was running your style as my default when I was running 3.0.8 and it was everyone's favorite.

Zachery 09-18-2005 11:42 PM

um... My style works fine with any version of vB from 3.0.0 - 3.5.0 RC3, it doesn't use any custom templates whatso ever. so if your having a problem with it, its from your custom template ;)

ambumann 09-20-2005 10:00 PM

Very nice style zach, we really appreciate your work!

Zachery you were correct. I guess I had a custom footer template back from the Tsumani Appeal last year. Once I reverted, it worked fine.

You are missing some buttons though that are new with 3.5. such as in the editor and a couple of other places. I'd say around 10 altogether. I copied them over from the default style and they still seemed to match ok. One was the spell check button in the editor or quick reply, a few minor ones like that.

OKIHost 09-28-2005 10:44 PM

I just installed this and everything works except any of the icons, there is no red x just no images load. I tried uploading the images_pb to /public_html and /public_html/images (overwriting the default ones) as well as putting the whole images_pb folder in the /public_html/images folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Zachery 09-29-2005 03:09 AM

images_pb needs to be placed in the root directory.

Loyalty4Life 09-29-2005 04:47 AM

does this work with gold well?

Which images won't work?

Will you be releasing a fully working 3.5 version of this great skin?

Zachery 10-01-2005 05:42 PM

...

Skin works 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000%

You may need to upload some images that have recently appeared in vBulletin 3.5. most of these are in the editor folder.

donnacha 10-01-2005 05:47 PM

Thanks Zachery, great hear that it works a billion, trillion per cent :)

The image that have recently appeared in the vb 3.5: I have a fresh install of the gold, does that everything I need? Any advice of what images we should be watching out for?

Thanks again.

MrDegree 10-01-2005 07:25 PM

Zachery, will you be releasing the Silver and Windows XP ones too? I used to run those as well and it was popular on my forums.

Thanks!

Romeos Tune 10-03-2005 07:11 PM

Thanks for the style! How can I make the footer not quite as wide.... It's wider than all the other tables. Can't seem to find where to edit that. I'm talking about the bar where it shows Contact Us - StormChat - Admin - Mod - Archive - Top. Thanks for any help! :)

C_P 10-04-2005 04:45 PM

I have always liked this style and now after upgrade... I love it more. It runs and looks nicely with vB 3.5 and mkportal as well.
GREAT job and the missing images in editor is a quick add.
Would Click install 17 if I could. ;)

TheFocusElf 10-05-2005 04:25 PM

Anyone used this in 3.5 Final? I may use this on a corporate intranet to replace the style I've made o'er there.

Just want to make sure if fx in 3.5 Gold.

-Scott

Zachery 10-05-2005 07:07 PM

It works...

TheFocusElf 10-05-2005 10:47 PM

Thanks for the heads up Zach. Next question... what's youre website? If I do deploy it, I would of course offer a donation/payment.

**I apollogize for not reading the green text -- I scrolled down immediately to look at the SS's. Seeing as I am not yet installing it but debating that or creating one from a scrath template set I have, I was only interested in the look. PM me with a donation address though in the event I do use it. I would PM you first to inform you and discuss the fee. I would also pay to remove copyright info. This MAY be used on a corporate intranet site.**
