Show X-Originating-IP In vbMail Headers
After installing this mini mod, vBulletin will add X-Originating-IP to the mail headers. Thought this might be useful. Compatible with the Proxy to Real IP converstion hack by Paul M (which I highly recommend to install).
If you like this hack, please click INSTALL. Thank you. |
I suppose nobody needs this? That's odd.

TBH, this is the first time I've seen it, It's actually quite a good anti spam idea. :)
I shall be trying it later. |

Used vb for some years but i'm still no coder nor expert. I just do not know what this means and i'm sure i'm not alone. |
If you do not know what IP's are, then do not worry about it.
If you still wanna know, mail headers is the hidden system information that every email has. In Outlook Express, those headers can be seen in email's properties. In Opera's M2, you can see the headers by clicking on "Display All Headers"... Those headers are generated by the servers through which the email passes, including the one you send mail with, the one your receive mail with and any intermediate servers that may be on the way... |
