Soft Deleted Archive
Soft Deleted Archive v3.2 If you have a forum where you disallow your Moderators to Hard Delete posts, you might want to look over exactly what posts they have deleted, in case of disputes between staff and members. But running a huge forum with hundreds of threads, this task can get tiring. This is where the Soft Deleted Archive comes in handy! Features:

Nice Idea :)

Looks possibly useful.
I was thinking about something like this last night, but more in terms of the Reported Post plugin. When a thread is deleted, it gets move to a specified forum. When a post gets deleted, it gets moved to the same forum, starting a new thread. |
Umm, any chance of release for 3.0.7 :).
|
Nice Revan, I will use this :)
|
Clicks install.
This really should come standard in vB :) |
Awesome!!
I have over 500 soft-deleted posts on my board that I have been too lazy with my current hack to open individually to review/remove. This will be a gem when I go to 3.5 on my live site so that I can get rid of them all. Installs with MUCH thanks. :) |

You didn't think I named it 3.0 in an attempt to keep up with vB versions now did you ;) And thanks for the nice comments guys and girls, it's really appreciated :) |
Have I said I loved you yet? 0_o....just to let you know :).
|
Haha. Sorry mate, but my heart belongs to another <3 (and yes, she's a girl XD)
;) |
It's not nice to call Brad a girl ;):p

Would you say this is server intensive? It's timing out for me, no other script on my host does that.

Revan,
I never bothered with my 3.0.7 board as I went live on 3.5 last week, but loaded this up today and got rid of hundreds of these pesky things in one click. Ran flawlessly -- and quickly. Thanks so much for sharing this! :D @fleabag -- you may want to try to delete fewer at one pop? If you are deleting threads that have a boatload of posts in them, that will be quite intensive... |

Wow I cant believe I was actually the first person to think up an useful feature and put it as a hack XD (unless someone on vB2 did it, I never looked there, I swear :p) |
Excellent idea! ;)
|
Just an idea. Wouldn't the cpnav option be better suited in the Thread and Posts nav?
|
Well ye, but when I made this there was no such thing as the ability to place this inside other navs ;)
Ill update this as I do the above :) |
Any way to make the installer a plugin instead?
|
You must mean product ;)
And yeah, Ill add that to my todo list :) |
Yea Product sorry
Thanks |
Thank you! Just what we need. :)
|
vB diagnostics picked solfdeladmin.php up to be a 3.0.3 file - just thought I'd let you know.
|
Because of the header comment, no doubt :p
It obviously works in the version it's released under, I just haven't been assed to update the comment :) |
I know that, just thought you'd appreciate a reminder - it might scare novice users into deleting the file.
|
Hehe you are right, thanks :)
I'll remember to update it when I look back here for the todo list. |
Cool... :)

See yo moving fast, hah :) nice to see this one in 3.5.0 need a hand here? I just go over, and make the product for you :) have fun PS. you might need to uninstall old phrases, i'm not sure this xml only replaces the installer. you still need the other files to be uploaded |
Why didn't I see your port sooner? :o
Cheers Revan! |
Nice Extension, thanks.

Thanks for this, Ill link to this post in the first post since Im still too swamped/lazy to rebuild the zip :p |
lol. that's too much Revan
|
If you're using the product xml by mtha, from RC3 onwards you should use the attached cpnav_softdel.xml file instead of the one included in the current zip.
This attaches the cpnav to the product rather than vBulletin itself, something which the Enhanced ACP Navigation modification uses to list the custom cpnavs in their own menu. |
This doesn't work on 3.5 Gold?
|
No idea, no reason why it shouldn't... Haven't had time to test it yet.
