Nice one! I'm using this (after changing the colour scheme) in my recently upgraded forum (http://www.zerogain.com/forum) but I've noticed that the "links" button at the top is not aligned with the rest when using IE (works fine with FireFox). It's noticeable even on your Forum Home gif above (allthough on my forum it's worse).
Any ideas? The button is the same size as the rest so it must be in all the DHTML menu code somwhere which I know very little about :( Thanks, Michael. |
Ill take a look into sometime today if i get the chance :)

Zachery...
I need to make a couple changes to this style or is it template ? I'm still new to this and am pretty confused. 1) I want to lose the purple header and replace with our logo in the center, but I don't see where to do that. I don't see an image name for that purple header. Will this also delete the buttons nested in it ? 2) I also want to change the color of those buttons away from purple and towards some more earthtone color to match the rest of our site. 3) I would also like to try adding our current site nav buttons outside the left side of the VB table, to see how it works. I might want to undo that though. Here are links to the VB as it's set now and to our homepage for button and logo reference. http://www.mozartforum.com/VB%5Fforum/ http://www.mozartforum.com/index.htm As I said I'm still a real beginner at this. One thing that would also be helpful is a guide that clarifies which portion of which VB page is actually controlled by which template. Terms like Postbit are still quite foreign. Also in HTML pages I'm acustomed to being able to make a copy page and edit that till it's right then rename it to put it on line. How can I do that in VB so I don't make an error I can't reverse ? Thanks in advance Steve |
Youll need to edit the header template. Only if you remove them as well.
You can use the vBulletin 2 GDK, if you dont have access to Photoshop will you give me a HEX code youd like the buttons to look like? To add your links the way it works now youd probaly have to edit the header template and have them included here. |
Sownman, it is a style, however, you can copy out the parts needed and insert them into teh proper template.
Example, I only wanted the avatar on teh side, so I copied teh section for "postbit" and added it to my template. Worked great. Thanks Zachery I had spent over an hour trying to do this before I spotted yours. |
There are a few bugs to it atm, which i will update soon.
|
zachery, can I ask you a question? Ill try to describe this the best I can. When I view a post, my website takes me to the last post in that thread (if I already viewed it). However, when it takes me to that last post...itll take me to the very bottom of the post, meaning all i can see is the post number. Is there a way to get this to load so that I can view the post and not just the post number?
|
Any word on when these updates will be finished?
|
Ive only found one problem, and it isnt major, what bugs have you found?
|
AMAZING style. My favorite so far, good job Zach for bringing some memories back. :)
|
Can you share your website? I am wondering if your having the same problem as I am with post anchors!
|
There is no problem with the post anchors they are in the default place of the postbit.
|
Very nice !! Thanks !
|
I have abit of freetime today which i should be able to update the style to 3.0.3

|
Uploaded. Great skin. Thank you! :D
|
Zachery: Do you have a list of the "map" of old graphic names to the new vB 3 names? I've had to take over a forum that was upgraded to vB3 but want to use your vB2 skin with the forums (modified) vB2 graphics.
I could work them all out individually, but if you've a list of what goes from where to where then that would help. :) |
Thanks a lot to Zachery for these graphics and this style. It's really very good. :)
|
Awesome, I prefer the vB2 style over the default vB3 any time! Thanks alot!
|
Best skin ever!!!
|
Cool theme, NetAddition could use a classic look.
The slogan I'll put on the logo will be: Powered by vB3-Looks like vB2 |
Any chance of this style being updated for vb3.5?
hugh |
Thanks, Zachery!
And yes, please update this to 3.5. |
Would love this on 3.5
