[Release] vBulletin 3 Dark Style - Free - German version
 

vBulletin 3 Dark Style - Free - v. 1.0.1 (english and german)

Please read this first:
This style is free for any use. It may not be redistributed in whole or significant part without my written consent. Please inform me, if you have chosen to install this style, so that we can make a list of installations here.

This style has been made with vBulletin 3.0.0 RC 4 and was solely tested with this release. It may work however on earlier versions (Gamma, RC 1, RC 2 and RC 3) and as soon as Gold is published, I will review it and post any changes if necessary.

This style is a german and english style, it has all the buttons in german and english language. The Style for the Admin Control Panel is an international version, as no buttons are included there. All files are in their own folders. So if you unpack them in your standard-installation, they don't interfere.

Installing the User-Style
In order to use the style without using the smilies and posticons, just upload:

images/buttons/vb3_dark
images/buttons/vb3_dark_english
images/statusicon/vb3_dark
images/misc/vb3_dark_logo.gif

to your server and upload the style-xml. If you want to use the smilies and posticons please be aware, that there is no possibility, to have two sets of smilies and / or posticons on the same board. You will have to use them an all styles or on none. If you are aware of that and still want to use them, move all files from

images/smilies/vb3_dark
images/icons/vb3_dark

one folder up into:

images/smilies
images/icons

and upload them to your server.

As for the XML-files, there are two versions: One with the limit of 760 pixels in width and one liquid. You can use the one you like most or use both, and let your users choose the one they want :) Both language-versions work together, so you can have the style installed seperatly for the english and the german users and they don't bite each other :)

Installing the Admin CP-Style
Just upload the whole content of

cpstyles/vBulletin_3_Dark

to your server and set this style in "Admin Control Panel Options".

No, because vBulletin 2 doesn`t support XML.

In Vbulletin 3 gold, it seems like a lot of text intended to be white is black instead. Did you make any changes that aren't in the current zip? This is the english version btw, I haven't looked at german.

Yep, there are some things in gold which don't work. I am currently working on the Gold-release and will post it soon :)

too dark actually tho I love dark styles and my board currently running a dark blue style designed by me. It's pretty simple but did good effects to my members since they like dark too ^^
