[Release] Category Spacing v2

1 Attachment(s)
Author: SaintDog
Description: This will allow you to place a space between each category, which allows you to neaten your forumhome display up a bit and make it easier for members and guests to view.
Demo: See the main page of vBulletinTemplates for a demo.

v1 of this template mod was originally done by Xiphiod.

um, does this mod work for 2.30? cuz im not seeing where to place it before... and when i placed it before all the coding.. i went to my homepage and they were spaced. but like 1 category was normal width, then the other was very short in width.. what is wrong?

This is probably simple, but how do I get all the columns to be the same. I don't really see any width tags anywhere.

Thanks!

ernestdefoe 06-16-2003 06:20 PM

Okay I did this, but now everything is out of alignment. How do I get this fixed?

I have the same problem!!

ernestdefoe 06-16-2003 10:49 PM

Okay nevermind I figured it out. Had to use another template mod located here.

imported_Emrys 06-16-2003 10:49 PM

Followed the advice in this thread, but I could see where changing a static width to a percentage would make things align correctly.

Maybe somebody else can try this and let us know what they did.

There're 3 places that have the above code in "FORUMHOME" . I think you just need to replace the first one, isnt it?

Look for the instance where $forumbits resides, that should fix the searching problem you are having :).
