iHCF (vBStyleDesign), vbPanel

What happened to all the free style sites? :o

Last i heard both of them were coming back but now both of them give 404 :'(

Tony G 09-22-2003 05:47 AM

vBStyleDesign was closed some time ago.

vBPanel was sold, and thats the last I heard of them.

RixiuS 09-22-2003 05:48 AM

Oh, I didn't know vbstyledesign was closed :-\ I saw it was gonna be, then he changed his midn couple of times, last i saw of it was just a 404 splash page -.-

Kudos to iHCF and Manex/Cypher (and whoever else was @ vbpanel)

au revoir :'(

cdrive 09-22-2003 04:12 PM

i may start one, i have vbulletindesigns.com lying around un-used, but i'd want some help with it if i decide to go ahead with it.

MrNase 09-22-2003 05:21 PM

ask the guys who made the other projects. Maybe you can use their templates so that someone can download it from your forums :)

Tony G 09-23-2003 12:11 AM

Most of the skins at vbpanel.com were made by other people (Like Xamira forums) and only distributed on their site. Guess it's worth a shot asking?

SaintDog 09-23-2003 04:50 AM

I would ask the developers of the styles, as above, it is worth a shot.

woa, i haven't heard this news
too bad vbpanel was sold....

Tony G 09-23-2003 07:25 AM

It was sold and the new owner had taken over, but then somehow for some reason it went down.

me?? Who made all that styles? ;)

Ah, i can't use all the styles because i have to translate them first but i think it would be very nice if the crowd wouldd be able to download/use them because there where some very nice ones :)

cdrive 09-23-2003 05:34 PM

Well i am now seriously thinking about opening a site, i'm going to attempt to work on a few skins, and a design for the site, (got the domain) If anyone feels they want to help drop me a line

i will be reopening vBStyleDesign within the coming weeks. i'm already in the process of reopening podesign.

vbstyledesign.com will be reopened by the end of next month with several new styles.

CannonFodder 09-24-2003 12:28 AM

taking a much needed break. i still gotta purchase a new vb license, i'll probably do that in a week or so. i should have podesign opened by next week, vbsd can wait a few, i want to get podesign ready first, and have vbsd as a sub-group of podesign.

SaintDog 09-24-2003 05:06 AM

heh, welcome back to the community :), not heard from you in a while. I was just up your way a few days ago (at least in JC that is), had to run by there then back on the highway to Knoxville; my g/f wanted to eat at Chuckie Cheese's (not bad pizza, but 1 pizza is not enough).

Brad 09-24-2003 05:11 AM

Chuckie is a con-artist, the pizza tastes like rubber and they charge well over $20 for a large. I prefer to call one 42 inch wide pizza in from the local joint and not tip ;).

Tony G 09-24-2003 06:01 AM

Welcome back iHCF. Look forward to seeing your sites back. :)

heh, the ones around here is tasty IMO :), tastes more of garlic, but I have ate there for years, back since it was Showbiz Pizza (yes, quite a while back ;)).

I agree, it is a rip-off in some essence, it was $18 for a medium and 2 drinks, though I did manage to get about $5 worth of free tokens when I was only supposed to get $1. I kept taking them out when she would turn around and she would fill it right back up because it was empty -- can't believe it took her 5 times to actually catch on.....I gave the tokens away though as most of the games there are for smaller children heh.

Tony G 09-24-2003 10:05 AM

You guys are lucky, your pizza's are huge. With ours, the 'large' size has just gone smaller over the years.

SaintDog 09-24-2003 02:51 PM

heh, well I don't know about huge, I can eat a medium or large pizza myself without anyone else eating with me; that does not say much for the size if you ask me ;).

PIzzaHut's pizza's are, in some cases, rather large, but that depends really on what you eat, Chunkie Cheeses holds nothing though, they are rather small :).

Brad 09-24-2003 06:39 PM

We have to get large pizza's around my house, you try feeding 3 stoners with the munchies ;).

lmao. i can only eat pizza like once every two months or so, yes i'm aware that i'm weird. :P

Toky0 09-24-2003 08:39 PM

lol Pizza around my area is ok. The ones out of the store look better. O_o

SaintDog 09-24-2003 09:49 PM

heh, pizza is about my main source of food, be it frozen, making my own, or going out somewhere and ordering one :).

Tony G 09-24-2003 11:17 PM

Most Frozen Pizza is just disgusting. There are some I've found that are actually quite nice. But most bad.

I can eat a medium by myself (Thats an Australian-sized medium) if I'm really hungry. But usually it's a small or 1/2 a large.

Yeah...:D
