Are you 'hooked up'?

We all know the guy, that can get us something we want cheaper then it gose for in the store. Recently ive gotton 'hooked up' better then I have ever been before.

A buddy of mine who I just started seeing alot for the frist time in years really has a booming bussiness, I dont know how or where he gets his stuff and frankly I dont care, but I nearly **** myself when I found out what i can get from him so cheap.

My second ps2 just broke, I paid $300 for both of them. Picked up a new ps2 still in the box for $40 from him. Im also getting any game still in the wrapper for $10. CD's for $2 before they come out.

I am also doing a project car with him (72 cadi), my stereo was ganna run me $3,000 or more. Im getting a better one for $400 :D. And a set of 22 inch 100 spoke rims for $600 .

Im thinking about buying some stuff from my hook up strictly to sell it off on ebay, I already sold two ps2's for him and made $25 off each deal

Zachery 08-25-2003 08:03 PM

i think my ps2 is breaking 40 bucks sounds like a good price :D

im usualy the guy every comes to for thigns

SaintDog 08-25-2003 09:51 PM

Would be nice to have such a friend available for such business. There are a lot of CD's I would love to buy, though some are not even available anymore, if he could find them, I buy 'em ;).

Tony G 08-26-2003 04:45 AM

Usually things that are that cheap have been stolen. :p

Not saying in this case it is, but since you don't know where it came from I can only imagine the possibilities. :p

But, I want your friend. :p

Zachery 08-26-2003 10:51 AM

meh personaly as long as it isnt anything huge (ie cars or large ammounts of stolen items) i really dont care that much

a ps2 isnt worth the 150-200 they make you pay for it

Tony G 08-26-2003 11:19 AM

Yeah, I've had 'connections' before too. :o

I think the fact that they're stolen is obvious :p

That's how it is :). I know a lot of people who can get me stuff like that, my cousin does sound systems for cars, a friend of mine can get mobile phones, so it's all good :D.

Brad 08-26-2003 01:56 PM

As long as I dident steal it im not worried about it, just dont pawn the stuff off ;)

Playstation 2's might have something to do with it :p

SaintDog 08-26-2003 08:14 PM

heh, PS2 is not all that great, IMO. It plays games, it is fun, but even if I had all the games in the world, I could not play it more than 1-2 hours per day (and I am home most of the day) :).

Of course, I can't say too much as I am not a true gamer (as some would say), so my vote on all gaming systems does not go too far ;).

Tony G 08-26-2003 09:51 PM

I own a GC instead of a PS2, but who can't say you can own both? :D

satyr 08-27-2003 12:10 AM

i can personaly say *hint hint* that the only reason i bought vBulletin was for the hacks, and to make sure my board wasnt shut down in the next few weeks after it was put up. I dont know about you, but the reason i bought vB was because i had it before i bought it and liked it. off topic to this discussion, but most deffenetly related.

I am very close with a family worth very close to a billion, they have a habit of buying things and changing their minds. 2 weeks ago 1 of them bought a nice big screen, got it home and decided to go with a plasma. I did not get the big screen but another friend has it sitting proudly in his living room. I have rec'd thousands of dollars worth this year, some things brand new in the box, some stuff just is not good enough for a billonare. Every now and then you may meet a high profile politician, actor, or musician. Last month paid a visit to the home of Robert Earl Keene, he is renting a place from one of them while his new place is being built and I help take care of many of their businesses, rentals and mansions.

Neato, I know a few doctors who I go to the lake with sometimes, the president of miccy d's has a house up at smith montain lake. It is awsome, he has ronold sitting on his boat deak and the gold arches going over the house :D.

My 'hook up' dose car audio with ludicris (sp?) (the rapper) cosin, who lives in town. Last year he went to a party with him, he was the only white guy there. Told me Redman was throwing blunts out like it wasent nothing. Im hoping to go to one next year when we do a car show for the club next july.

Dave-ahfb 08-28-2003 11:03 AM

Golden arches over the house lmao. Makes me wonder what the president of trojan might have lol.

Going to Houston in now, dropped off a Aston Martin Vantage DB7 to get some custom work 2 weeks ago, time to pick it up. Not mine, belongs to one of the brothers.

SaintDog 08-28-2003 10:15 PM

Depending on where you go, mixed drinks and beer is not cheap, it is cheaper to buy the ingridients yourself for mixed.
