html tags
is it possible to turn them on, as we happen to do alot of work here in html?
|
No, frist of all its the biggest security risk you can ever take (IMO). secondly why would we want html phrased in posts anyway?. Lots of people forget the code and php tags when they post code.
|
i didnt mean turn on html, i meant the tag, [HTML]

Could someone tell me what's significant about the html tags in vB3? What does it do, highlight elements etc. ? |
It places them in a while, 1px bordered box :).
As for the HTML tags, as it has been said before, all work is to be submitted as a text or zip file, there should not be any real need for such here. This was asked a while back when memebers started posting text and not text & zip files. While it may be a bit more trouble to save a patch as a TXT or ZIP file, it cleans the place up a lot more than a slew of HTML everywhere, mis-aligned post-boxes, and so forth :). |
