I can't find my copy of PSP6 anywhere, and now I have no means of taking screenshots. I have fireworksMX, which is way better in nearly all regards, but I can't find anythout about screenshots.

Anyone know of an opensource program to do them? Or something very very cheap. Please do not suggest pirating. I look bad with a peg-leg

Just use the Print Screen key and MS Paint if you're desperate.

I usually use Print Screen Key + MS Paint. Has the essential cropping tools etc. It works.

Um...nothing happens when I press printscreen. Trust me, I'be tried.

Hitting "Print Screen" (or shift Print Screen) will copy it to the buffer -- you have to then paste (ctrl-V) into something. When I don't want to bother with loading PS, I use IrfanView (which everyone should use ;)).

Why doesn't it work?

Keyboard is messed up. I have no control key essentially either. I hate old things. heh

There's shops full of keyboards out there for you. ;)

If you have $5, you have a cheap new PS/2 keyboard. If you have $20, you can have the uber MS keyboards.

I use infranview, it's small and easy to use. :)

get a decent keyboard man i got one for a fiver from the local market and i have to whack it with a hammer to get the keys to work sometimes :)

This is a newer one I bought. Logitech. **** crappy keyboard.

Mabey they just labeled the print screen button, SysRq.

My keyboard button for Print Screen is PrtScrn/SysRq.

It says both. But some keys don't work. prnt scrn being one
