Took me forever to build, but well worth it. Easily the best forum out there in my opinion, but then again it's because i designed it haha...so i'm very partial :p

ok i sent you an email. Thanks also :)

joeboo 04-19-2003 04:31 AM

Very nice. But i cant help but think that someone will say "It looks just like yaxay!" -_-

d2alio 04-19-2003 04:51 AM

haha i hope not... actually i've gotten quite a few comments from people that have said we look better than yaxay :) and one comment that said, "i see the yaxay similarities."

Tony G 04-19-2003 06:18 AM

No offense, but it does have alot of yaxay attributes. The big-massive long loading header like yaxay, the forum table colors are somewhat like yaxays.

The design looks nice, but it's pretty much hell on anything besides Broadband and up.

But, you can't help notice there are many yaxay attributes. Just what I see.

CannonFodder 04-19-2003 06:31 AM

i would say i like it... if i didnt think about Yaxay when i looked at it.

Mone' 04-19-2003 06:50 AM

very nice indeed !
good work

Tony, ya know what... You don't know how many times I've heard that from different people not just for this forum but for every single forum out there.. everytime a new forum design comes out the think "WOW, that looks so much like yaxay" even if its just a single button even looks like a yaxay button. Maybe the colors look "similar" but does that mean someone can't use those colors anymore? It also does not matter that if to you it looks like yaxay because DzaLio? is a designer for ravio the same business that designed yaxay. Personally I love this design and see no similarity expecpt for maybe the round on and off images. This design will take vbotm garenteed.

P.S. I coded it, If anyone needs a design they created coded and integrated into vbulletin pm or email me and we can set something up :)

Tony G 04-19-2003 07:31 AM

I love the deisgn, it looks great. But some things remind me it of yaxay, thats all. But the design contains enough things to seperate it from any other design. I'm not a big fan of big-object orientated designs but apart from that it's nice. Just couldn't help notice a few things.

But yes, the design looks good. Most imaged ones do look good. :)

d2alio 04-19-2003 08:27 AM

haha speaking of the round on/off images, Corey made those for me :)

joeboo 04-19-2003 09:11 AM

is there a way to decrease the loading? i'm on cable, and it still takes a while to load :/

Tony G 04-19-2003 10:55 AM

I don't think there is, it's just the amount of images that makes it slow to load.

Breaker 04-19-2003 11:34 AM

i think it's just me but i didn't see v. much if ne resemblance 2 yaxay other than the colors with the style, nice work m8, i wish i could create gfx like that

Ditto on everything Tony said.

d2alio 04-19-2003 09:03 PM

thanks for all of the general feedback. Aside from the first table and second table color I don't see what yaxay similarities you find...not to mention that wiredgamers is an enhanced version of the GamersLive design, which went out far before yaxay v2. but then again, I was expecting such comments such it's all good.

Tony G 04-20-2003 01:09 AM

Well, I thought the header was similar only because it was a big image-orientated header. Yaxay have that too. The images are way different and all, just the style of the size etc.

Otherwise thats about it. It's a good design.
