i've been a Licensed Member.
^ Title but i dont have that in my user's title :(
Why not? |
Because you aren't, please enter the same exact email (It's also case sensitive) into this page to activate licensed users here:
http://www.vbulletin.com/members/forums.php |
Done :D I am to a Licensed Member! :P
Yay worked! :) Thanks Tony!
No problem, you now show up as one. :)
I hope SD set it up so only mods can see it?
No he didn't actually, I logged out and it shows the status still as logged out. o.O
i can see mine lol
Yes, but I think that needs to be changed to just staff to see the license status's (Like at vB.org)
i agree with that...it could be "risky" in a sense
Yeah, I think that it should be hidden to just mods/smods/admins too...doesn't bother me because I'm licensed :D
EDIT: Saintdog: You need to setup an additional 'title' for users, which shows if they're licensed or not...because otherwise, custom titles, moderator, super moderator and admin will just overwrite it... |
The staff is legal, at least we can go that much. LOL. :p
Still, some custom titles are overriding the licene status's for members. |

Well, considering we all do post over at the other vB forums you can take your say. ;)
Also n9ne, are you appearing as licensed here? Just that your custom title overwrites it. |
What happened? I can't access my thread where I was working on a WindowsXP style! This is it and I keep getting a "Access Denied" message.... Not fun. Can anyone explain why I'm not allowed to say that I've finished the style and am ready to submit it to everyone?!
Before you can:
vBT is under the vBulletin license control, if you are not licesed, you are limited to what you can do, if you are licensed, you need to do the above.

That guy is also offering to let people into the member's area which means he deserves to be castrated and then shot multiple times. |
Hell, for that matter he's offering his "services" on your forum. I'd ban you but *casually glances in "another's" direction* ;)
Where so is the offer?

Taken care of and will be reported to vBulletin and vBulletin.org.
Done! Even though i had the chance to run an illegal board, and grab hacks illeagaly, i think as a paying customer this should be stoped.
And also as a paying customer you should go to http://www.vbulletin.com/contact/piracy.php and report where you could have gotten the files :)

Yeah... Sorry about that. I know how much you guys care about being legal... I'm getting a license for my birthday (I have awesome friends! :D) and I'm going to report to vBulletin about what I did to get the files.
You don't come across someone like that everyday.
I know! And I actually have a license now! Joy!
:D PS - I like the quotes! Are they default, or have you already made a new hack for vB3? |
It's a template mod (sort of) that I released here and that SD ported to vB3.

I suppose this is a question for anyone....
How hard is it to port over hacks/mods to vB3? I know vB3 uses new templates and variables, so I'm just wondering what kind of modifications would have to be made to, say.... Chen's store hack. |
Well once you get familiar with the system it won't be too hard.
Porting Template Mods = Pretty Easy
Porting Hacks & Code Edits = Probably a bit harder :) |
Woo, easier for us. :) ;)
