Are you looking to sell it all in one sell or multiple times?

Multiple times ideally; if I auctioned it it would probably only be once. I've never sold a style set before so I don't know what's best and don't know details like whether I should include the PSDs, etc.

If you intend on selling it, you should at least include the logo PSD's so the person(s) buying the skin can change the title. The remaining PSD's, of course, would be your choice, although you would probably receive plenty of e-mail asking for them.

As for selling it, I would sell it off multiple times. You would find many users are willing to pay a low costs regardless of the times sold, over paying one large lump sum.

There's also the issue of pirates who rip it. I can always put in call-home functionality but it can always be found and removed.

I would pay up too $200 for it, if it came with psds, ect, and all the template mods too ;)

Well obviously it would come with all the template mods including the welcome panel that everybody pesters me about to no avail. I'm leery about giving away the postbit PSD but don't have problems selling it with the header PSD which IMO is easy to make.

Also how would I go about selling it? Is there any online retailer or do I just have to do it myself?

Basically, yourself and with PayPal or another Merchant processor.

If you are seriously willing to buy it at $200 then I'll be glad to keep it to one person.

if only I had $200 but I see places like vbpanel and place selling stuff for $300+, and your IMO is waaay better :p

What I meant is I strive to be different from other styles. Most style sets are liquid design with the goddamned pixel font everywhere whereas I use Lucida Sans Console like a crackmonkey and have a static layout. :)

A call home feature will not stop others from pirating it, it is a chance you take. While most will be honest and buy it, some will not and will take it.

yeah, look at adobe, some people must buy Photoshop...:p

Well it won't stop others from ripping it but it'll allow me to find out who ripped and get their hosting cut. I hate selling software and nontangible goods :(

just add a "made by Filburt" on every image :P

heh, well it is part of it.....just have to deal with it in some cases when you are selling things on the net. Getting their hosting cut will work, but then it is easy to get more hosting from another provider.

Then you get *some* of those in China and other places where copyright laws are all out of wack and then they refuse to take it down because they have not violated anything.....

and remember, some people host themselves. ;) and if they have an ISP called Comcast, then they can get away with anything -_-

I say between $15 to $25, probably $25 at least.

For those of you who voted for more than $25, how much more? Remember this also includes all the feature enhancements that WDF has like the last thread title on forumhome and such.

I might throw it in mainly because I can't be arsed to undo the template changes that HB uses. I did write instructions for him.

I would pay $200 for it, unhacked style only. psd's for the header too.

$200? Woah, well for one person only it's worth it.

i voted no cause i dont like it. i do like it - i love it actually.

but i wouldnt buy it. its not the type of style that i would purchase (even though i dont buy styles)
