Find :

<title>$bbtitle - powered by vBulletin</title>

Replace with:

<title>$bbtitle - $poweredby</title>



Save.



Add a replacement with these paramaters:



Code to find: 

$poweredby

Code to insert: 

Whatever you like instead of powered by vBulletin

If you like the hack, click Install

Before we even get into this (i know someone is ganna bring it up) you can replace the powered by vBulletin in the title. But you must have it in the footer.

So yes this mod is legit.

And nice modification ;)

why not just change the "powered by" manually by overwriting it - surely this is EASIER :rollseyes

Because editing a replacement is easier then going thru a long template over and over again ;), thats why the colors are not hard coded.

Itanium is the man. Well not really, I did this one by accident and he fixed it up for me, but in all reality, it's only used in one page, correct? The front page (unless you use a portal I assume, and maybe this changes what it looks like in search engines)

Hey, I was right, meaning I'm learning (streamers go off). Anyway, I found it alot easier for staff members who aren't so experienced with coding templates to change it to what they desire, and it helps alot when you have a psycho who everyday comes up with things like "powered by Vanilla Coke" and other stuff too replace the 'fueled by the Gemini Server' which I had:rolleyes:
