ClientNode.com: Coming Soon
 

Originally, this domain was up for grabs, but I have since decided to develop a website around ClientNode.com. ClientNode.com will be a trading arena for Web Hosts, Designers, Freelancers, and many more.

The basis of the website will be based around the community, where all buying/selling/trading will be done (with hopes to use vBulletin as the community software).

While the idea may replicate other such ideas of other websites, we do have further plans for the website as it grows.

Having a central place to buy, sell, and trade, I feel, would be ideal for many as CN will not contain forums that do not pertain directly to the main idea of the website. We are limiting the forums to those that directly deal with what is being sold and so on.

We do have plans to keep track of feedback, currently, it will be done via staff, which will move on to a larger system as the website grows more.

CN will also have forums that are only available for posting by respected buyers (i.e. those with a good reputation within the community). Seperating such forums will allow those wishing to purchase something to know they can do business and trust the person on the other end.

With that explained, since CN will be free based, we are looking for small donations to help finance the intial launch of the website (i.e. to purchase the vBulletin License, maintain server costs, ect).

Buying, selling, and trading will all be free so donations for the initial startup will help get things moving onward and in the fastest direction towards launch.

If you are any of the above and wish to participate, we urge you to make a donation to help CN.

$10 has been donated as of this moment towards the websites funding, I hope that this will continue as vBulletin is basically going to power the website. It was chosen due to its permission system and upcoming features, hopefully the donations will amount to enough to at least purchase a license, if nothing else :); although all donations are more than appreciated!

Once I find some money I'll donate to vBT/ClientNode. I should be able to snatch some soon. Just need to pick the right time to do it. ;)

Not a problem, I certainly don't expect everyone to donate :). I am just seeing if anyone is willing to help out a bit with the starup costs. I will manage all additional costs myself. This website is pulled from my personal funding which is stil a little shot from Christmas, hence the reason donations are being asked for.

Would you accept leased licenses SD? I can give you one of those free of charge. It was given to me but I have no need for it as I'm working with somebody that has an owned licence.

How much time is left on it? I don't need anything long term I don't think as I should be able to cover my own costs within the next month or so, Christmas killed me so I am having to work with what I have as of now.

Until September. But that person is giving you an owned licence which I think is bettr at this stage. I will sell this licence soon and give you the money if you need it.

I need to decide if I'll do that though.

Once ClientNode is open, you are more than welcome to come over at a moderator. I am hoping things will go well for the website since its general target will apply to anyone and everyone who buys, sells, and trades (even those that run contests).

The main point it to offer more control over things as time goes on, something that many forums do not offer.

There is a feedback section as well where members may comment on others as well so members can search before they buy/sell to members.

I hope to have it up soon, just waiting on a few other things before I proceed.
