Very slow loading, must be queries from your portal page.
Not bad, colors aren't too bad either. You could imrpove that header graphic though. Don't like that login table at the bottom of forumhome either.

slow loading? Its never loaded slow on any of our members?

Tony G 01-25-2003 10:47 PM

Your main page is slow loading. Your main forum page is a bit better.

Dan 01-25-2003 11:11 PM

Well I guess me and my co-admin will get to work on that code again for the portal page :)

Tony G 01-25-2003 11:24 PM

Maybe use vBHome, less queries. Or vBindex, not as much as vBportal.

Dan 01-25-2003 11:32 PM

Know of something that will help me create sites that are intergrated into the template system by any chance?

And which one has the least queries?

Tony G 01-25-2003 11:38 PM

vBHome has the least queries.

Also you can check www.virtuanews.co.uk for a very fast portal that integrate with vbulletin
only 7 quiries if i'm not wrong

Tony G 01-26-2003 04:32 AM

Thats not a vB portal, but those work too. :)

I got vBhome up and running now :)

All i had to do was take 10 minutes of my time and mess with coding gain...

Now the page does run faster....

What I had there had 29 queries and vBhome has 10...

Cypher720 01-26-2003 03:10 PM

I thought vBHome was just 9 queries at it's maximum. I have one running at 5 queries with a few things disabled. :)

Dan 01-26-2003 10:12 PM

*shutters at disabling things*

9 as guest 10 as a user

Tony G 01-26-2003 10:57 PM

Why shutter? Alot of the things are useless for BBAdmins.
