I never thought I'd see the day
...but I have two power supplies plugged in and running to try to find out why UT2k3 keeps crashing at the opening cutscene at the exact same spot all the time. 500 watts coursing through the cromptrar :D
You'll blow up your electricity meter, be careful. :p
Well I did end up fixing the problem (drivers needed to be WHQL certified) but I'm too lazy ATM to reconnect the power to the way it was before :p
Do you have one of those surge protector things? Very good if you don't have a surge protector for the whole electric system there.
Yeah I have a surge protector but everything's back to normal with the pooter now anyway :)
Better to be safe then sure. ;)
...anyway, thanks to December 25 the pooter now has a new MS Multimedia keyboard (the volume/mute/etc hotkeys rock) and an 80 GB firewire drive to expand my 20 GB in my desktop and 20 GB in my laptop. The laptop also got a scan convertor so I can watch videos and stuff on a TV :)
You lucky ducky. Congrats on getting that stuff. :D
I dunno, the pooter area sounds like an airport tarmac now with all the fans :D
Heh, I like to keep my comp nice and quiet. ;)
Mine sounds like a jet taking off with all the fans. i got a new microsoft wireless intellimouse and a new guitar and amp
Are those new wireless ones any good? Anything I have tried has little delays etc.
Mine is better then my old ball mouse, tho im keeping it around just incase. As for lag, ive got none. tho ive played with how my mouse updates is postion in windows to make it a bit faster.

I think im getting a new keyboard to go with this mouse, god knows i need one.
And, i see no reason why anyone wouldent like this mouse i have, other then the batteries running low fast. Thats why i have a charger with lithum batteries  |
You are no longer a slave to the Duracell corporation :)
**** right, screw paying for batteries. My d-cam eats them up wayyy to fast.
Rechargable ones go fast too though, even though you can recharge you find yourself doing it often.
I use Energizer: Titanium. They last very long. I've at least been listening to my walkman for 24 hours altogether and not one bar on the battery is gone yet. They are a tad expensive, but worth it. **** batteries! :p |

I have 1 gig left... on my 8 gig HD :( [high]* Nairb runs and cries [/high] Wanna lend me some uh, HD space? O_o |
Having those as rechargable is very good! I just have some ordinary batteries as rechargable but those run out quickly. The Titanium ones I have aren't rechargable though. I wish they were. :(

I fell sorry for you, but at the same time i wish to gloat :D *rubs 320 gigs of HD space* |
Mines 12GB, think I still have 9GB and I have heaps of stuff on this.
Okay, I now have a DVD-ROM drive, a new CD-RW drive to replace my slow 8x (new is 40x), a CD-ROM drive, and two zip drives (I never even use the one :D). I had to use one of those splitter cables to even get power to everything, LOL :D
*Huggles Zip Drive* It's my saviour. :p
Zip drives are pieces of crap in my experience, burners are kings. :)
It's fun when you turn on my computer now, all the lights on it (power, hdd, cds and zips) turn on :D |
I agree, but for a second backup zip drives do okay. :)
