Anime-loo cant you get dsl/isdn ? i live in a small town was on 24k i was like ur no... so i upgraded to isdn fast as cable but downloads suck

No, i pay for 56k (or sould i say barrow ;)) and thats as fast as it gets. Like i said, EVERY house near me but mine has cable. Time warner wants us to pay them $3000 to run lines in.

I will soon get some form of broadband! Although my 56k is alot more reliable then most. I haven't been connected for long though just connected. :p

Not worth it, similar story for me. I live in a metropolitan area and we don't have cable wires. When a few years ago they dug up out street to put some in. Then even told us it was cable for pay TV etc. Grrr..
