Screenshot?

imported_VTI 12-14-2002 01:53 PM

how can you post a screenshot of the page you are going to when you register. Normally jou go to some sort of tank you page, now you can send people to the rules or anything you want.
That's the hack.

ps:
how do you get into the templates map?

filburt1 12-14-2002 02:53 PM

Please see this thread: http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mo...s=&threadid=16 (i.e., needs a header and [release] in the thread title) :)

flup 12-14-2002 02:56 PM

Np

flup 12-14-2002 03:33 PM

BTW what would be the rating of this template edit? (out of 10)

imported_Eternale 12-15-2002 06:56 AM

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I dont want to register

so Plz post a Screen Shot

flup 12-15-2002 08:20 AM

I cant post a screenshot,
Because, when you've registered you're going to "Introduce Yourself"
Or another forum or thread, so want to see it live? register.
Sorry

imported_Eternale 12-15-2002 10:57 AM

i still dont get it

Alls u have to do it press "Print Screen"

Its not hard

imported_VTI 12-15-2002 11:10 AM

the install.txt says you have to go to the templates map. To the templates register or something. But I cant find it.

flup 12-15-2002 12:18 PM

You have to find the bold text: REgistration Templates.
Then click expand list, than you will see register

filburt1 12-15-2002 02:00 PM

A SCREEN SHOT DOES NOT APPLY TO THIS MOD! All it does is change the redirect target, read what he posted!

flup 12-15-2002 02:47 PM

Hope he understands now

MacKenzie 12-15-2002 04:42 PM

flup 12-15-2002 05:08 PM

Me or the weirdo?

MacKenzie 12-15-2002 06:48 PM

imported_Blindchild02 12-19-2002 10:31 PM

flup 12-20-2002 07:45 AM

Hmm...have you already tried to register yourself again?
Cauz only then you will see it in action

Bad Bunny 02-08-2003 08:02 AM

I'm going to install this baby. Looks real awsome. Straight forward and simple!

Bad Bunny 02-08-2003 08:26 AM

Ok. It inded did not work. It seems the $url is a page, such as index.php, and by adding /showthread.php to it, you end up with nonsense.

I got it to work by changing the url to the one I wanted, and getting rid of $url. Also, you don't need the session variables in the template. take out the s=6353876537653 part.

imported_iggy123 04-28-2003 12:26 PM

Is there anyway of making this go to an announcement?
I have a set of forum rules I would like everyone go to but i did it as an annoucement rather than a post
when i tried doing it as:

$url/announcement.php?&forumid=22

and all i get is a blank page?

flup 04-28-2003 01:09 PM

Use $bburl instead of $url

imported_iggy123 04-28-2003 05:15 PM

excellent, thnx

flup 04-28-2003 06:19 PM

Np, did it work?

It sure ain't working.

The author needs to edit the download.

I tested it out and after registration, when you get:

username, you have now successfully activated your account. Please click here to return to the main index.

It only takes you to the main forum page. blah~
