I'm sure this question has been answered many times. Just do a search. I remember somebody posting some code for the table. If you can't find it I'll re-post it. :) |
yes i have asked a few times myself but didnt get the answer
|
Try searching "postbit tables"
:) |
It was answered a few days ago from my memory, it's still probably on the first page.
*Searches* |
this has been answered like 2136176 times here;)

And SD has said that he has no intentions of posting the code for this postbit. But it's still reasonably easy, just put every field in a table and give it a CSS border like so:
Code:
<table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2" style="border:1px solid gray"> |

did you 'buy your way' out of displaying the vbulletin copyright Jolly Jack?
|
not yet i havent, but trying, at what point do you mean and where, explain more and i will tell more
|
he means you took the copyright info off
|
Its still there on my website, the picture was cropped, if that was said in the first place i would have answered.
|
No it's not, on your main forums page the full copyright has been removed. It should read:
Powered by: vBulletin Version (Version Variable here in code) Copyright ©2000, 2001, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited. When you add it back you will then get support. |
Very sorry indeed, my mistake, must have deleted something when messing with bits of templates, was not intensional
|
Do you intend to add it back? I don't see it added back yet.
|
this information is at the bottom of every page on my screen
< Contact Us - BB Helpers > Powered by: vBulletin Version 2.2.8 Copyright ©2000 - 2002, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited. so where abouts is it missing? |
What link are you using to view my page, PM me if you want to stop cluttering up forum
|
The one in your profile.
Edit - Ahh, so you removed it from your profile. But oh it was there before. |
i had removed it, so i can get it sorted, now i know what you was on about very sorry, bit off a miss understanding there, it is now back on all pages except the portal, does it need to be there aswell, as i got someone to install that for me, and i will have to contact him as he is a aussie like yourself, and we seem to miss each other sometimes as i am in UK
|
Was the copyright there when you installed the portal before changing it?
|
The copyright was there before install portal that i know, why is there a problem i should be aware off
|
Is that the only copyright there? Is there another? Because I haven't seen a default vBPortal for a while.
|
At the bottom of the portal page there is the portal stuff but not a vb copyright, i dont know if there is ment to be one as i dont know how to install vbportal i have someone do it for me
I ahve just been to a couple of other sites i know that use portal and they dont have a vb copyright on their portal pages aswell they have something like what i have which is this This Web site is powered by vbPortal© 3.0b All logos and trademarks in this site are property of their respective owner. The copyright
