[Tweak] Colored User Status Via CP!
Description: Lots of questions have been asked about how to add a color to user status like at vBT, and it's doesn't require a mod. It can be done through the CP!
Attachment Below. I know this really isn't a template mod, more of a tutorial but to just solve those questions about it. Enjoy! :) |
Sweet man... THX!
It won't work with custom statuses though, unless you set them through the admin CP of course :)
example please
There is no screenshot. It depends on what code you use in that box.
There are too many possibilities, but if you want one from the example code in the txt file I can do that. |
THANK YOU
mmmmmmmmmmm thank alot
Please click install if you did use this. Thanks! ^_^
doesnt work for me??
Then you didn't follow the instructions properly. :)
There is possibly no way this couldn't work! :p
Show me the code you put into the title box if you can't get it to work. |
it doesn't work...
I don't get it. I go to my admin cp user groups administrators - ->edit then the first box is:Title (I dont change that) the second box is:User Status Use this to override the default 'ladder' of user status titles I insert the code you give as example. It doesn't show admins in red in who's online or in a post. I don't know where it has to change, but it doesn't work with these two. |
It works.
It's already late here (almost midnight) and I guess I'm a little sleepy. I changed my own title to something else, that's why he didn't show me red. Tnx for the hack. |
Oh okay, glad you got that sorted out. :)
worx here after a lil change
maybe some others will get the prob, thats why i tell u guys how i fixed mine. Change this <font="red"> to <font color="red"> :) |
Whoops, thanks for the bug report. It has been added to the text file. :)
is it possiable to make your users title animatied gif? or Flash for even Mix-FX??.... sry this seem like the thread to ask this question in
It's just HTML so whatever...
It's possible, just use HTML tags like <img src etc. whatever fits the situation.
Example Here
Use HTML to put that in. If possible.
Do you need the code? |
Yes please. that would be great. Do i just place the code in the Users Title Box, in the admin control panels?

If you made it animated Gif it would of been alot easier on you. But im not to sure what the code would be for that kind of file
thnx for sharing such nice info
greetz |
Thank you for using. :)
I used this hack, but now I can't see the user stats like newbie or so. Only registered or admin. Do you guys know a code to put the stats like newbie, senior member and stuff in a new box in the user profile field? (when you post)
If you did it right, it shouldn't affect any other status but the one your editing. You did do it in the user groups didn't you?
If it's in the user titles in the profile, it will override that persons default title. |
I did it in the usergroups, but only thing I see, is registered or admin. No things like n00b or senior member. But do you know a code to get it right or to just put the n00bstats in a new table?
You do the same thing, but in the other usergroups to affect those ones.
o_O |
no that's not what I mean, if I use the hack, I don't see the usergroup anymore. Or actually I do, but I don't see everything. I only see admin and stuff (registered, mod) but no such things as newbie, member, senior member. I changed the colour for registered and since that time, he doesn't show things like newbie or member anymore.
thank's a lot..I try!!
Doesn't work for me, hm..
Anybody helP? :(
