Description: Adds a "quick search" bar to the top or bottom of your forums. phpinclude is used here only to (1) hide the bar if the user doesn't have search rights and (2) simply moving the bar around on forumhome.

How full is your phpinclude template now filburt? Bigger than forumhome and the likes? :p

Naw, forumhome is insanely huge, but phpinclude is 309 lines :)

309 lines...*faints* then again it's like hellsatan @ vB.org's functions.php which I would guess it would be thousands of lines :D

I have been considering writing a pseudo-API for my phpinclude mods to simplify things...:)

How about if I add it to every page, which template do I add the $quicksearch on?

Maybe to header or footer template?

Found a slight mistake. You need to change this line:

to this:

If not, when you type in less than the required amount of characters, you get a not found error instead of the error message that hitting enter will produce.

You also need to add "forumhome_quicksearch" to the templatesused line to get rid of the extra query. ;)

Well what would that require? Hacking? ;)
