User Name Colors Border Background
 

This mod actually works. It is only an addition of three profile fields, and 1 or an optional 2nd template edit.

Shouldn't take too long to implement.

Thanks to Logician for the Advanced Templates hack, which makes this a little easier.

You did, if it was recent it was mine. Otherwise, there was a hack but it didn't work right.

How recent? This could have been a few months ago..

Recent as in like today, but the only other one I saw there seemed to be one no one could get working.

I saw it on a forum fully working, but maybe because the owner modded it to work. *Shrugs*

Yeah, the hack isn't too hard. If you know how to use profile fields then it is very easy. But I figured I'd help those people who don't and also add a new little feature.

so ppl can choose their own colors or is that chosen for them?

People can choose their own colours, as far as I know.

installed it but border wont work.. :( didnt install the optionall stuff..

Make sure you put in a value like 1px blue solid

People can choose their colors, the optional stuff is to limit access to it.

Post what you have for the font tag.

You need to use CSS in the fields, no?

Yes, for name color and background, just colornames or hex values, and for the border it needs to be CSS, 1px solid blue is an example.

The font tag includes the CSS right in it, so you don't need to edit the CSS file, it could also be done that way.

Any reason why this would not be seen on a browser like Opera?
