sig line
I think this is the correct forum so here goes, but if not please feel free to move.I would like to make the line above a users signiture selectable by each user ie they can turn this on and off,and I not sure if this is entirely workable,I can disable it and not show in all members sigs, but can't figure out a selectable way any ideas help, pointers etc
|
No, i'm not sure if this is possible without hacking. Unless other members know how to do it (Tony?)
Sorry. |
it's ok guys I found a way to adapt it thatnks for the input though ffdcsite ;)
|
Cool, no problem.
Btw, how did you do it?? |
The only way I see would be to take it out completely.
Hmm...you could add a user profile field to set the color of it...then say that to make it invisible put $postbackcolor in your user cp...That's the only way I can think of =P. |
I dont get ya austin:confused:
|
I read this last night and I wasn't sure what you meant so I left it. But you wanted something that could turn sigs on and off in posts?
|
I think he means he wants the option that users can turn:
------------ USER SIGNATURE Into USER SIGNATURE Either have ------------ on or off. |
I'm sure that needs hacking, unless you just want to turn them all off via the UserCP.
|
Yeah, I think so too.

An option that turns whether ------------ is on or off. Not the sigs
|
Ahh.
Well I don't see much difference, just either take it out for everyone or don't. |
I'm sorry if im not explaining it correctly.
Lemme try again, you see the the hyphons above you signature, well, he wants it so that can be displayed, or not displayed. |
I know, but whats the difference without them? Just a seperated sig. Not much of a user option.
|
yeah I wanted the line optional, because I was asked to do this for certain members, however this is no longer an option I am looking at now,but thanks for the input
|
heh, its alright.

As I mentioned above I no longer have an interest in this line as I managed to adapt the line to my new showthread on a new style I am currently working on
|
