Forum Additions?
 

What, if any, new forums would you like to see added here at vBulletinTemplates and why? I have received a few PM's as well as a few e-mails about adding new forums and I would like to see what everyone else would like to see added.

So post away with your ideas :).

a forum for all the little questions about template hacking that get asked over and over

A freelance forum for work asking. But no commercial offers.

I am not sure about the Freelance forum, this is not a design community (at least when I created it, that was not the intention :)). Starting a design community would not be a bad idea, if I could get enough people to join up :).

As for the hints and tips forum, that was suggested already, so that will be further looked into :).

If you need some people for a new community..I'm you're man :)

I still like the idea of having a gallery for the postbits. So many posts now are just people posting their postbit, which I think is a great idea, I just think it would be better if it had it's on forum. Perhaps a sub-forum.

Another idea is for just a basic HTML forum. These wouldn't relate necessarily to a specific template, although I would imagine that most of them would. There are a lot of questions about basic HTML problems.

how about a styles forum ? for sharing swapping etc as long as the poster is the owner of the original style,he wishes to trade etc.

umm how about a forum with graphix like submitting button sets and such..

Oh, I almost forgot. It's not a forum, but it'd be nice to see a chat channel.

we have to remember there's bbadons and vbgraphics... so im sure that saintdog wants to keep them seperate....

I'd like to see the template modificatin bugs forum go because any bugs can be reported in the original thread...

The "Template Modification Bugs" forum has been removed, I had already thought about removing it, so it is officially gone now. As for the graphics/styles submissions forums, I am still debating on these, I am not sure if they should or should not be added, I would rather not have the same styles submitted from BBAddons.com over here once more (even if they are modified).

If some people are willing to share their styles, I may open that forum up a little later on, that depends on the repsonse from the members here.

I can understand the issue of not wanting to have the same styles in two places, but BBAddons supports more than just vB doesn't it? So, it almost has two different audiences and having the styles in two places may be ok, if viewed that way.

Just a thought.

a gfx forum would be great, not to go with the vbulletingraphics, but to do with gfx in general, gfx comes in quite a lot in template modifications, and it would be great to learn how to do the stuff that others do to their boards, as i am a photoshop n00b

personally i wouldn't like the site to stray from anything other than vb's... that's the reason i come here... as people share their work for vb's... not anything else... :D

After a recent post by xiphoid to answer a user's question, I think it'd be nice to have a "Links" section to the site. A resource, if you will, of other places to go to find information on modifying your board.

Some boards, such as PixelJunction, call it an affiliates section.
