buy VB

Hey is it possible to buy a vbulletin through paypal?

SaintDog 07-13-2002 07:15 PM

As far as I know, you can't, you will need to use a credit card, check, or money order to make the purchase. For more information, contact vBulletin's Sales Dept. directly.

you can buy thru paypal

In order to see YOUR specific options, please use the pre-sales forum, (a moderator will probably redirect you to: sales@vbulletin.com). Ask sales for the paypal options for your situation.

PET 07-15-2002 07:25 PM

vBulletin is the best ;) i love it. And yes...when v3 comes ?

SaintDog 07-15-2002 07:55 PM

It has been said at vBulletin.com many times that the costs will remain the same when vB3 comes out, they do not have any plans (yet) to raise the pricing.

Do you know what happens when the new version comes out? I wasn't a vB user back in version 1.0, but I wonder if I have to purchase a new licence if I upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0.

I would ***ume my licence is for 2.0 of the software and vB as a whole.

As long as you still have access to the vB members area to download vB then you won't need a new licence.

Jelsoft did not release a date for the gold version of vBulletin version 3.x

I think I also saw a thread where a vB team member mentioned that the pricing wouldn't go higher. But ofcourse, it can change at any moment.

If you buy vB, you get one year of free updates/upgrades. So, if in this year a new version is released, you can download it for free. After this year, you can renew access to the members area (download section I mean) for $30 (per year) [note; this is optional choice]

I am happy to read that a few members here have finally decided to purchase vBulletin, it is a great piece of software and worth the money. (just a shame they didn't purchase it through my affiliate link)
