Yes, as Xanthine said above, you will need to visit vBulletin.org for such a hack. All modifications here at strictly template based.

Maybe this template mod should use a different SS, which only includes what is added ? [ So just take out the new threads since your last visit text :) ]

Updated for better understanding :)

wintz 07-16-2002 10:53 AM

How do i get the images to align right like there are on vbt? thanks

Del 07-31-2002 02:25 PM

^^ Yep, thats what I would like to know.

Fincycle 07-31-2002 03:39 PM

what do the buttons do?

assassingod 07-31-2002 06:27 PM

The first one lets you post a new thread
The second one lets you subscribe to the Forum

Do this :

Quote:

<p align="right">
<a href="newthread.php?s=&forumid=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/newthread2.gif" border="0" alt="Create a new topic in $forum[title]"></a> <a href="member2.php?s=&action=addsubscription&forumi d=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/subscribe2.gif" border="0" alt="Subscribe to the $forum[title] forum"></a></p>
Or, if that doesnt work Which I think it wont try this:

Quote:

<td bgcolor="#13486D" align="right"><a href="forumdisplay.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&forumid=$forum[forumid]"><normalfont><b>$forum[title]</b></normalfont></a>
<br><smallfont>$forum[description]</smallfont>
Im not too sure if they would work though-Im 77% the first one will work, 23% the second one will..

Sorry I can be more accurate:(

Obi-Wan 08-06-2002 02:44 PM

ffdcsite it's not really working for me...

the links get to the right with the first edit but the there's a space of two lines between the name of the section and the links.

Quote:

<tr align="center">
<td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}" valign="top"><img src="{imagesfolder}/$forum[onoff].gif" border="0" alt=""></td>
<td bgcolor="{firstaltcolor}" align="left"><a href="forumdisplay.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&forumid=$forum[forumid]"><normalfont><b>$forum[title]</b></normalfont></a>
<br><smallfont>$forum[description]</smallfont><a href="newthread.php?s=&forumid=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/newthread2.gif" border="0" alt="Create a new topic in $forum[title]"></a> <a href="member2.php?s=&action=addsubscription&forumi d=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/subscribe2.gif" border="0" alt="Subscribe to the $forum[title] forum"></a></td>
This is my original one

I am wondering about the same thing, how do I align the images to the right like SaintDog has here? Also, the images are great but don't match my site, can I edit their colour or is that not allowed?

Mark 10-13-2002 03:45 PM

That's what I'm wondering, but I guess you can try a basic html align code?

defsyn 10-27-2002 01:32 PM

YES GREAT!!!!!

thx for your job

Neo-Storm 01-25-2003 06:41 AM

If you want it to align right just add in the <img code: align="right"

This hack does WHAT?

Tony G 08-02-2003 07:00 AM

Adds icon links to the main page for each forum. Stuff like Search specific forum, post new topic in specific forum etc.

There used to be a screenshot.

dstruct2k 08-05-2003 07:38 PM

But it's not attached, which is what SD and the mod crew yell at people to do constantly, because, as proved above, links do go down. :D
