Help Desk
I would love to see the Help Desk hack ported for 3.5. Anyone willing to take this on?

it looks like it should work fine already... it requires no file edits... and only one template edit.... I dont see why it wouldnt work ;)
maybe some edits within the system itsself tho |
hmm might have to giver a shot.. Would hate to hose my test site and start over again. I was kinda thinking the same thing, but I am just being causious.

You won't be disappointed with what I'm doing. It's taking a little longer but when I send out the update... Just make sure you're one of the first people to follow the directions. Everyone will love it! :)

I'll be updating the 3.5 help desk within the next week with the same features.
Refer the to 3.0.x thread for more information. It's just taken way longer than I expected to update this hack with all the new features. I'm working on the simple upgrade as we speak. BTW, because the 3.5 upgrade probably won't hurt the current help desk installation that I'm aware of, so all you'll need to do is upload the new helpdesk.php file and it will work once I release the update. Also, on another note... I've cotacted the 3.5 vBSupport creator in hopes of us combining our knowledge and abilities to make a better plugin for the community. |

WhSox21 do you have any plans to support the option of non-registered users lodging support tickets? I personally think it would be a usefull addition.
Also does the helpdesk have image varification protection much like the 3.5 contact form and the registration form? |
