well done

C.Birch 06-15-2005 12:21 PM

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/ulnet/public_html/forum/vBRadio.php on line 100

get that in the pop up window.

Zero Tolerance 06-15-2005 12:24 PM

Strange, it translates $DB to $db, try changing this line:
PHP Code:

$DB $db

To:
PHP Code:

$DB $vbulletin->db

See if that works.

- Zero Tolerance

C.Birch 06-15-2005 12:29 PM

that worked, but yeah it was a odd error.

C.Birch 06-15-2005 12:33 PM

Stations play but:

Currently Playing is just black and none the controls work.

firefox 1.0.4
windows media player 10

Zero Tolerance 06-15-2005 12:36 PM

I'll have to review the JS, it's pretty old and i doubt it works fully for Firefox.

C.Birch 06-15-2005 12:45 PM

works fine in ie, just the errors with firefox :)

C.Birch 06-15-2005 02:35 PM

btw sometimes it totally crashs firefox.

womensden 06-15-2005 04:02 PM

ok, it works fine, but I cant find the place to edit the stations, or add stations....

womensden 06-15-2005 05:10 PM

Where? I can't find it in there at all.

C.Birch 06-15-2005 05:12 PM

here

womensden 06-15-2005 05:13 PM

ok, I figured out why...

Thanks.

And it's at the bottom of mine for some reason. No big deal though.

mholtum 06-17-2005 09:06 AM

/me installs
Works great. One question, where might I find a listing of stations to add?

http://www.radio-locator.com/

If the Station has a https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2005/06/4.gif beside it, click on https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2005/06/5.gif and get the Audio Feed URL.

Mr Blunt 06-23-2005 12:15 PM

Hi there!!
First time vBRadio user!!
Love the Plugin!!

One note ... and take it with a grain of salt cause I'm still an amateur ... but I couldn't get this to install until I went into phpmyadmin and created a new field called 'product' under 'template'. The mysql error was quite long and referred to how this field wasn't present, so I gave it the ole college try and made one setting it as VARCHAR(30) as a wild guess (from looking at version field).

Then I ran the install again and she works peachy!!

I'm running vb3.5.0 beta 2 on a forum that has been running for years, taking each 3.0.x upgrade and it's never had this filed in the database before, and I guess the install failed to make it?? Or should it have been there??

Not complaining .... Just informing.
I feel like the goose in the crowd.

Thats a known error in VB 3.5 that will be fixed in VB 3.5 Beta 3. It is not from the plug in.

Brandon Sheley 06-26-2005 06:32 AM

Good to see this ported,
I haven't had the time to play with the beta 3.5's but they look great :)
this will be a mod i'll need, i have one question could the radio blog hack be ported ? i like both mod's.

thank you

southernlady 06-26-2005 04:38 PM

For FF users, if you download the FoxyTunes 1.1.1 extension, this works JUST fine. I had trouble with it on mine, went over to IE to make sure it had installed (IT DID) so I went hunting for the FF extension to allow me to hear Windows Media Player and installed it. Works like a charm and other than having the controls on my task bar, it's non-intrusive. Liz

Blootix 06-27-2005 03:13 AM

ZT, you might wanna note that for people who has installed this hack from vB 3.0.7, they're gonna get an error in the second step of installation. It's no big deal though, since everything works fine.

southernlady 06-28-2005 11:09 AM

I love this hack...but a question? Have you updated it to Beta 3 yet by chance? Liz

KoLdArKnEsS 07-05-2005 10:42 AM

I made some buttons for my interface, they work really goodly :nervous:
I tried to make them similar to iTunes but you know........I suck. So I made some black ones.
here
and with the mute function

tomjinx1 07-13-2005 01:00 PM

I was wondering if you might also be interested in creating something like this but have it look in a specific directory on the website for mp3's.

Either way, I love this hack.
Tom

Dream 07-14-2005 03:36 AM

great, firefox crashed with it and itunes tho :P

Dream 07-15-2005 03:26 AM

should I take the time to do a import / export stations with xml files for this? would anyone want to exchange big station lists

tomjinx1 07-15-2005 12:32 PM

I would be interested in that.

Barakat 07-20-2005 12:27 AM

works great

carloshax 07-25-2005 07:15 AM

mholtum 07-26-2005 09:39 PM

Ok, I just installed vb 3.5 RC1 along with the vBadvanced for 3.5 and the radio works fine in while on the forumhome, yet while on the portal I get "Page cannot be found".. Any ideas?

Neutral Singh 07-27-2005 09:24 AM

Even after uninstalling the option in admin cp remain for vB radio. Plugin is not properly un-installing in vB 3.5.0 B4, any clues how to un-install items from admin cp manually?

remove the file from the xml folder (I think)

forum > includes > xml > cpnav_radio.xml

I installed this and everything appeared okay but i could just not get music to come through, nothing what so ever.

I use latest version of IE. No errors came back and it looked nice. Any ideas? I did the radio station settings correctly.

FleaBag 07-31-2005 11:02 AM

The music works for me without the mentioned plugin. Just a black box where the equilizer should be, but that's to be expected. Anyone know where I can get the mentioned plugin for FF to allow it to work?
