I have put together a few screenshots for all of the inline editing stuff I could find. I am still discovering some of the admin difference and will put something together for that also. A few posts down is a video also.

And is that remark really needed?

Be glad that someone take the effort to make these and show the differences. If you want to see it on your own board, go ahead and skip this thread.

because my board is heavily hacked, i myself probably won't upgrade until 3.5 is out of beta (well, also cause i'm a procrastinator.) thus, ericgtr, i really appreciate the screenies cause it helps me see what the new version has and i look forward to installing it.

thanks again!

I will wait until 3.9 comes out to install 3.5 :devious: .

Yeah I am also on that ship an even though the minor hacks will be easy stuff like gallery cmps and arcade are major hacks that will be a while quite a while.

Here's a little video I made to better show how it works, this has already been done over at vbulletin.com it's just another version.

I'll move this to the 3.5 How-To forum since it's useful. :)

why did you have to be so offensive ? it's just my bad joke (?)

Marco van Herwaarden 06-17-2005 03:17 PM

My bad then, sorry i didn't recognize it as a joke.

And i was trying (sorry if you misunderstood that) not to be offensive, but defensive on behalve of the threadstarter.

Nothing personally against you, but i feel sad to see that we have lately more and more negative comments made, or arguments between members. A lot of times these will be because of misunderstandings (like i seem to have misunderstood your post) due to the fact that a lot of our members (including me) are not native speakers. I was trying to avoid a quarel between members (you can better get angry on me, then on another member, i am supposed to be able to get over that ;)).

deathemperor 06-17-2005 03:35 PM

I understand that words doesn't have tone and that's why I used the icon "^^" like a smile for it. others may make offensive posts but just don't count all as. I'm fine with this, just forget it

mathias 07-05-2005 03:49 PM

I also appreciate the screens but my well hacked forum plus 5k members many paying members will wait for VB 4.0 :)

akanevsky 10-10-2005 09:46 PM

I believe this thread should be deleted (hey we have a gold version now).. And what;s it doing in tutorial section anyway?
