I'm surprised no one has requested this! Just throwing the idea out there ;)

It's in vB 3.5 -- Basically it allows you to quick reply to a thread without refreshing the page. It just shows up in real time ;) It's pretty cool.

<shrug> Just wait for 3.5.0 - it's not that far away.

I don't think many people will upgrade right away because they'll lose all their addons. I know I'm going to wait at least a few months after the final version just to make sure. And didn't vB 2 come out with a hack to add a Quick Reply function to threads? Same sort of thinking I guess....

I can always wait until it's released and pick through the code to add it myself though... Just thought it would be better if someone experienced could do it ;)

Agreed, would be nice for those us who can't upgrade straight away.

I'm going to wait at least 2 - 3 months after the official release has come out so it would be worth it if someone did make this hack.

I think it appears straight away because it has something to do with inline coding on 3.5 or something. I'm no expert, but I don't think anything like that can be coded for 3.0.x or pre 3.5.

i would def like this for 3.0.7(8) since i probably wont upgrade to 3.5 for at least 64-6 months after it comes out.. so i know that i can move without having to wonder if ill lose any hacks i installed

My Board will go live with 3.5 ASAP after the final is out.
