Don't see much difference on the frontend user POV though..probably most of the goodies on admin side |
yeah it seems most noticeable upgrades are via admin so really right now the preview isnt much until we can use admin features.
|
Linkage to all Planned and released enhancements to the latest version?
|
Very impressed with all the information available regarding the changes. Looks like it will be a very useful version.
|
Don't mean to hijack this thread but if it's one thing I can't stand is signatures that throw cookies at me.... grrrrrrr
I forgot what I was going to say regarding this thread now... |

hope the public version gets released soon!

Umm... For some reason I cannot see any changes in their demo from vB 3.0.7.. Even though I am running the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
|
I'm happy... All blocked... :)

The best improvement would be a patch for those of us that have modded boards....
|
They should extend this to the admin demo. :)

I know. I am talking about the community board.

Love 3.5, best improvement is the javascript refresh when posting. It's such a smart idea, I wonder why it didn't come up sooner? ;)

finally there's a way for us to reply faster than the 'quick reply' lol |
The plugin architecture is a huge thing. How difficult will it be to adapt the hacks now in place on vb.org?
|
We won't know until we see it..

The answer to both is very similar - we don't know yet :) |
Well.. some people can (or claim to) be able to predict those lotto numbers! Maybe he is among us... :D
|
Dunno if this has been mentioned anywhere but the newposts function has changed - read threads are no longer displayed at all (instead of being just unbolded) - this is an extremely irritating change - I often want to refer back to one I have previously read, now it's no longer on view.

SMTP Mail Wrapper
Using vBulletin 3.5, you'll no longer need to rely on PHP's built-in email function mail(). You can now specify an arbitrary SMTP server with a username and password. may be best thing because mass e-mail on 3.0.7 doesnt work for me, but on 3.0.5 it did -shrugs yeah good stuff |

runs abit faster :)
