[Request] Fading Affiliates Module
Used to have this on my old phpnuke site, and I would like to add it again to my Vbulletin site, if anyone could port it over, it would be magic.
here is the file Code:

1: Upload the file in the attatched zip to your root directory. (Site Root, not forum root.)
2: Create a template named "adv_portal_banners" and use the following code: Code:
<!-- Scrolling/Fading Links --> Module Title: Banners (or whatever you wish) File to Include: none OR Template to Include: banners (If you named the template above adv_portal_banners) Active: Yes Templates Used:adv_portal_banners The images will appear faded as they scroll from the bottom of the module to the top. On mouseover they will unfade and stop. |
Superb mate, works perfectly, and better than my last 1. Thanks very much for this

I know this thread has been dead for a while, but rather than starting a new one i'm posting here because i'm using the files supplied here, but they aren't seeming to work on 3.6...
it's screwing the layout up...sort of making the middle and right columns disappear and just throwing everything into one column...see example attached does anyone know how to fix this? problem something simple i'm overlooking |
as always...i spoke too fast...it was as simple as removing the table tags...
|
Great share - Thanx very much!

Can you post the updated template? The way it appears on my site is with the title of the module underneath the module itself
|
Worked perfect for me on 3.6.4 Been waiting for a module like this for a long time.
One question how do I make it collapsable? Thanks again! |
If you make sure that the "Use Module Shell Template" is checked "yes", it will automatically make it all fit right in your page. It will make the block collapsible too, in short, it will look like all the other blocks on your VBA. The block title you choose will be what will display on your block
This works for template modules; Code:
<!-- Custom Block--!> Code:
<!-- Custom Block--!> |
Hey Carpe!
Didn't expect to see you here! The internets a small place eh? |
Hi ya! :)
Yeah, I lurk here a lot. Its helped me advance from being a "cut & paste" end-user to being a "tinker with stuff & break everything, pull hair out & cuss & sweat till it works" end-user. :D Thought you guys were an IPB ? |
Yeah P2PC runs IPB. I use vB for my other sites.
I'm here quite a bit myself. There's always somethingn ew to experiment with :D |
What do you need to change to remove the fading of the banner? We would like to have them at full intensity if at all possible.
