can i turn this off some way?

Forum Manager > Select forum > Prune after

Stetting this to a value > 0 will automatically prune all threads from this forum where the last reply is older then the set amount of days.

ok i was in the forum but i didn't see a prune after?

Marco van Herwaarden 04-24-2005 06:13 PM

DONT USE PRUNE!

Pruning means deleting.

You can edit the Setiings for each forum to specify the number of days that is used for the default cut off. Also you can override board default in your UserCP.

Or am i being daft ;)

And i use this to great effect in my for sale forum. Deletes old defunct ads by itself.

Marco van Herwaarden 04-25-2005 03:18 AM

I think he should have added a question mark after that title, but maybe you are right.

Amazing the world of net-iquette ain't it ;)

boo.3 04-28-2005 01:25 AM

edited my bad

ok now where can i find this?

is there away to turn off all pruning in all the forums?

manguish 04-28-2005 09:00 AM

Pruning is OFF by default.

It doesn't delete old threads unless you've told it to.

Perhaps you don't have threads older then 30 days :p

boo.3 04-28-2005 10:26 AM

yeah thats it how do i turn that off?

manguish 04-28-2005 12:44 PM

Set prune threads to 0

boo.3 04-28-2005 05:15 PM
