wow very nice and fast loading style
I like it, nice job.
Thank you :)
looks great! nice job.
It's really nice, I don't fully understand why you've got all that space in the header image. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE negative space. However the header seems so large with no purpose. I'd also redesign buttons. They detract from the overall look quite a bit.
VERY nice!
Good job :) However, adding images which fit the design would be nice (darker). |
It looks very nice, well done. Although, you have a very complex header, yet your actual forum interface is almost default. I suggest working on the actual templates of the interface (like forumhome, forumdisplay etc.) and achieving an original look there. Something that matches the complexity (or simpleness if you see it that way) of the header.
It's nice, although nothing original :) Good job nevertheless!
Thanks for the comments. See, When I was doing the skin I was wondering if I should do a more complex body (forumhome, forumdisplay, etc) but I thought that might turn some people off. I guess I will work on it. Ah and some of the blank space in the header will have ads ;)
It might turn people off, but only if it's some radical different user-hating layout. It'd be pretty hard to get it to that stage.
Here we go, I updated the header a bit and added some spacing for ads, does it look better you think?

Looks better :).
The request quote link doesnt work, and the ad isnt clickable aswell, though. |
Fixed ;)
Ok, thats better :).

You're running a version of vB that has known security vulnerabilities. You should upgrade to 3.0.7 and always run the latest version.
Thats pretty awesome.
As said what you really need is the buttons done. And i wouldn't go with a more complex design, simple is almost always better and the regular vbulletin has a very user friendly interface. Just a suggestion, i see you have the vbulletin.com banner, you might want to sign in and be an affiliate if your already linking at them... EDIT: While i was looking through your Portfolio i saw the "ORacing" one, the link on the bottom is wrong, links you to www.oracing.com.com. Nice folio if i may add.. |
Filburt, I believe I patched it...will that not work?

Love the style; even requested a quote for a template. :classic:
Edit: After reading the above post... maybe I shouldn't have requested a quote... :ermm: |

I think it is time to close this thread to stop public bashing in either way.
If you have a dispute, please take it in private. If someone feel the need, they can open a new thread about the original topic. Thank you. |
