Can u tell me how to do it?
Because i only know a little about it |
you have to match up your database information with your config file
your dbusername, the password and the actual database |
dbusername is my Cpanel name and dbpw is my cpanel password correct? justin?
|
no it is what you put in for creating your database, click on MySQL Databases in your cpanel and check the information. then make sure it matches with your config.php file
|
At the bottom, the pw just says PASSWORD HERE on the information below the MYSQL database
|
do you remember the password you made for the user in the database?
if not i believe you can click on edit next to the username at the bottom and change the password, and put that into your config file |
it says "LocalHost, "myusername_myusername", <PASSWORD HERE>
-------------------- Changing the pw says "User Name: Password: "Create my Sql User" ^^is that how to change the user name and pw? |
Did you create the database yourself or was it pre-created by your host?
If your host created it, he should have supplied you with username and password. If you created it yourself, you must also create a user and assign that user to the database with all permissions |
I was trying to, restore a database, and i set the permissions
|
So, did you create a user/password and assign it with full permissions to the database?
|
No i have not yet. i will update this soon enough thank you too all that have supported me .
