hi people,

last week i asked my bank to get me a creditcard as this seems to be the "major" payment way.Now i have doubts in using services like paypal i mean look at these two sites www.paypalsucks.com and www.paypalwarning.com if halft of this storys are true paypal is a fraudelent company ! anybody got some experiences with paypal ? i didn't signed up yet i have serious doubts even after reading there "privacy policy" which mentions they collect personal identificable information....

My bank also warned me for services like paypal i don't want to be ripped off and i need some advice

Never had a problem using paypal here too. But unfortunately like every other company mistakes do happen, hence those websites. It's a very small minority of users that ever have problems :)

I've never had a problem with paypal. I know that it has happened, but much worse things have happened with normal credit cards IMO...

I know a guy who owns a board which is in the top 400 of bigboards.com (or whatever that site is), and got ripped by paypal...

I never had a problem using paypal. I find that for some online merchants, it really is the only way.

I have my paypal account linked to my credit card. I imagine if anything 'wrong' was put through,I could dispute it.

Some cards are geared towards the online shopper with extra protection, including but not limited too disposible one time use card #'s.

We use PayPal as our payment processor at vBadvanced and really haven't had any problems. The only complaint I have is that they don't offer seller protection unless you are selling physical goods and can show them a shipping receipt.

Yeah i use paypal been using it for about 3 years not and i never had a problem and i use it about at least once a week

Been using paypal for several years and I too have no seriouscomplaints. I also use 2CheckOut for straight CC processing, but wouldrather use paypal. 2CheckOut takes a nice commision and they seem to dothings without out consulting me first. Things like giving refundswithout my knowledge, or sending out emails to my customers that haveno regards to what my customers purchased.

Paypal user for over 6 years and never an issue.
