open your most favourite ftp client, then connect using your username and password also ftp server.

to CHMOD the folder "downloads" to 0777, simply right click on it --> CHMOD -> 0777

of course to right click on that folder you must first navigate to the folder that store the "downloads" folder.

der is no folder name downloads...? because it said before installing do that... ehhh

if THERE (not der) isn't one already called "downloads" then create a folder called downloads and make sure it is CHMOD to 777

so this you just upload all the things as the author asked ? I don't really understand why not.

same place you put the uploads folder i would guess.

Small note/comment: don't use WS_ftp_LE if that's what you're using... LE is limited edition and its got so many limitations. Instead, I suggest try something like http://www.smartftp.com/ or http://www.cuteftp.com.

As to chmod, for most FTP clients you can just right click the folder you want to chmod, and then set to 777 (read, write, execute for user, group, and everyone).

well there is a folder called "downloads" in vbdownload area 1.1 so i would guess you have to upload that to your server and CHMOD that to 777

hmm when i right click there is no CHMOD?

Sometimes the CHMOD is under Properties or Preferences.

hmm went to properties.. and there was this thing it didnt say CHMOD but it had this box dat said NUMERIC VALUE.. do i change that one?>
