Just under way, started up 3/1. Graphically it will improve, looking for comments as far as layout and # of forums etc. Especially for newbies. And of course you're welcome to sign up and post in the general talk areas. :)

Very nice considering you have a very limited target audience. Do you, or are you planning to do any local advertising?

Why would you restrict access on a board such as that? You just really want people to register?

For me, there is a giant empty space at the top of the forum, but that might just be Opera. Have you changed anything theme-wise, or is everything still default? If so, there isn't too much to comment on.

I'll look into the space thing, doesnt show a space on IE.

How do you mean restrict access? Do you mean to allow guests to post? There should be full reading access to all but one forum for guests... no?

Tekton 03-13-2005 11:13 PM

Well, the top bar that appears for guests says that they are restricted, but now how. That's the only reason I came to that conclusion.

Well they are restricted from posting as guests, its just a reminder to register if they want to participate.

eva01_ 03-14-2005 10:36 PM

yes it is.

its best to make things multi platform before releasing them to the public.

well the few mac people i know have no problem, don't think they are using safari. guess i'll have to find someone with safari and get some screenshots, as I dont have a mac. (dumped them long ago) i imagine 1% of my members are using safari, if that.

eva01_ 03-16-2005 06:10 AM

so you going to screw over those 1% and not optimze your code, not the best business maneuver :/
