Anyone Else having this problem while posting on this site?

I was posting to a thread, and noticed that the words werenotspacingproperly, so I figured I forgot to hit the space bar..well,that's notthe case.

Note the edit page, I have spaced everything correctly,

Now look at the post.

Even this post is having the spacing error.

Also the time is not properly taking. It's 12:26AM EST right now and the time listed in the original post is 12 Midnight.

That is odd, I stick to the normal editor so I've no idea :)

I mentioned this before ... https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=75384

but no action has been taken.

I prefer the enhanced. but seeing as this site did do an upgrade to 3.0.6 (I THINK. :)), I'll go ahead and try and clear Mozilla's cache. May just be an issue with that.

But if not, I see two other people having the same problem.

Edit: testing, seeing as it does it with editing post as well.

Edit: that seemed to work.

Ok, that didn't seem to work, I left the site, came back to make a post, and it's doing it again.

Hmm, that's a weird problem, that's never happened to me.

What thread did this happen in?

neocorteqz 02-12-2005 10:39 PM

it's happening everywhere, look at the first post in this thread. You'll see it in the first line (not the screen cap.

Weird... I noticed it too...

Maybe Xenon installed a whitespace removal to this site unbeknownst to me...

It could be the enhanced WYSIWYG editor. I've had problems in the past, but then again that was with older versions if vBull and newer versions of Firefox.

Maybe I'll try it in IE to see if it's the same.

it could by your computer to tell you the truth. Back when I had another forum system i would always had problem with typing in a response to a post. It would either type slowly, not correctly or crash my browser until i decided to fix up my computer and after that it didnt do it anymore.

Not my machine.

this is still happening. :(

Xenon 02-14-2005 06:16 PM

seems to be a bug in the wysiwyg

i have not hacked that part, so i asume it's a bug in the editor system itself

or erwin, have you changed something on the wysiwyg part?

tgillespie 02-14-2005 09:13 PM

It was happening to me as well when posting and sending PMs. I have since switched to the basic editor which takes care of the problem.

Erwin 02-15-2005 04:11 AM

Seems to only happen on vB.org. It's weird.

Link14716 02-15-2005 10:53 AM

I believe this was discussed at vB.com in the 3.0.6 discussion thread.

also i'm not sure if it's every post but the time is messed up.

Look at the attached screenshot.

it's 1 am here, and it's still posting my time as 00:00

neocorteqz 02-21-2005 03:30 AM

I've notice this has been happening around the same time everytime.. Right around Midnight.

Xenon 02-21-2005 05:17 PM

maybe it wants to tell you to go to bed at that time ;)

when we upgrade to 307 that should be gone, as i read in the announcement it's a bug in 306

cool. Thanks.

Adrian Schneider 03-02-2005 04:17 PM

The problem seems to be persisting :( is this board still running 3.0.6? Byebye for now wysiwyg, you'll be missed. :(

Johnny 03-02-2005 05:18 PM

i dont see how this is a problem on vbulletin side. Im using the editior right now and im not even having the problem at all. Only time i had the problem was when i was on another forum system but that problem was on my computer itself.
