You really should put the credits back in your watermark code. :)

Maybe you got the file from another source and it was removed?

loneranger 01-28-2005 11:59 AM

oooh this is nice, nice one.

RaZor Edge 01-28-2005 05:08 PM

I always get this error when trying to upload an image

Quote:

unable to get image size

Exernon 01-29-2005 09:26 AM

Same error here but that's not all..

Check this screenshot:

SVTBlackLight01 01-29-2005 10:24 AM

loneranger,

You should really use default vB template structures. I had to remove a lot of custom styling and extra cells with broken images. See Exernon's post above. This hack has good potential, though.

BamaStangGuy 01-29-2005 07:07 PM

- Moderate uploads
- Different Limits for users and usergroups
- User Gallery for uploaded images
- Stats
- Ability to host video and sound clips as well with the same ability to limit users and usergroups, set size limits, and moderate these attachments as well.
- Use vBulletin Template Structures

boo.3 01-29-2005 10:36 PM

Jenta 01-30-2005 06:02 AM

if someone is allowed 1 image will it allow them to upload a new one and have it overwrite the older image?

loneranger 01-30-2005 11:03 AM

sorry that do not remove is in both templates and can be removed i ment the copyright below that but you can't do comments in templates, for the water mark make sure you hace it switched on and some text set in the settings and that you have gd libray installed

Rireal 02-09-2005 03:45 PM

Can this be modified for any filetype and different amounts of uploads per usergroup as mentioned above?

Xtrato 02-10-2005 06:19 PM

hey.. I have uploaded the new files, i get same error, cant get file size, and try to re-install andi get this error.

Warning: main(../upgrade_queries.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /index.php on line 49

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '../upgrade_queries.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/user/public_html/forums/install/hacks/image_hosting/11/index.php on line 49

James T Brock 02-12-2005 08:36 AM

This is the error I'm getting

Warning: getimagesize(home/XXXXXXX/public_html/forum/uploadernavbits_finallink.gif): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/XXXXXXX/public_html/forum/upload_image.php on line 109
unable to get image size

Snatch 02-12-2005 09:46 AM

If this hack use the Atachment DV of VB ? Because I need that it unse the DB to macke Stats like the Atachement Upload Stats.

James T Brock 02-12-2005 06:46 PM

Ok, maybe this will help someone else. I was getting the getimagesize error I just posted about but I managed to fix it myself.

For upload directory the script says to use "home/user/www/forum/hosted_images", therefore I used -> home/MyUser/public_html/forum/hosted_images

When instead I should have used "/home/MyUser/public_html/forum/uploader/"

Note the slashes. That fixed it.

webrats 02-12-2005 09:15 PM

i run a sep image server will this script work with it?

loneranger 02-20-2005 12:54 PM

James T Brock 02-20-2005 07:20 PM

I don't understand, what exactly was changed? Was this just a cosmetic upgrade or does it add new features?

I already have the older version installed and working. Should I upgrade?

intrigue 02-20-2005 08:04 PM

hmmm i get user permission not allowed do you know what i have missed?
.matt

loneranger 02-21-2005 04:28 PM

you need to goto admin panel and select image hosting then add usergroup that you want to allow image hosting and their settings

no new features have been added you can now select different uploads,file extensions and amount of images that usergroups are allowed to update, i have also fixed a few problems with the script

Elfo King 02-22-2005 05:54 PM

Same problem

MiskaTorn 02-22-2005 08:00 PM

Ok this might help...

It seems the installer is modding actual php files...mine did not edit.

I opened file_mods.php and saw the changes in there and did it manually.

MiskaTorn 02-22-2005 08:14 PM

When I try to upload an image, all I get is a white page.

loneranger 02-23-2005 03:57 PM

you will need to go into the admincp and add your usergroup, in admincp there is a section called 'Image Hosting' select add usergroup then add your information

I also do not have the option under Image Hosting to add usergroups or permissions.

I have this problem whit a fresh install of the 1.20 version....

loneranger 02-23-2005 06:36 PM

have you followed all the file mods
find:
Code:

// ################################ NAVIGATION FRAME #############################

if ($_REQUEST['do'] == 'nav')
{
        require_once('./includes/adminfunctions_navpanel.php');
        print_cp_header();

        echo "\n<div>";
        ?><img src="../cpstyles/<?php echo $vboptions['cpstylefolder']; ?>/cp_logo.gif" title="<?php echo $vbphrase['admin_control_panel']; ?>" alt="" border="0" hspace="4" <?php $df = print_form_middle("L4181f6a"); ?> vspace="4" /><?php
        echo "</div>\n\n" . iif(is_demo_mode(), "<div align=\"center\"><b>DEMO MODE</b></div>\n\n") . "<div style=\"width:168px; padding: 4px\">\n";

        // cache nav prefs
        can_administer();

        construct_nav_spacer();

paste below
Code:

// ############################## IMAGE HOSTING HACK #############################
    construct_nav_spacer();
        construct_nav_option('Edit Usergroup Premissions', 'imghost.php?do=view', '|');
    construct_nav_option('Add Usergroup Premissions', 'imghost.php?do=add');
        construct_nav_group('Image Hosting', '<hr />');
    construct_nav_spacer();
 // ########################### END OF IMAGE HOSTING HACK ########################

make sure you have done this mod in /admincp/index.php

loneranger 02-24-2005 04:26 PM

did this work for everyone please let me know because if not i will look into it and modify the code

bigmonay2k 02-25-2005 12:03 AM

I thinking, is there way to only limit it to post in your *forum only*if whoever use it post it somewhere else my forum logo will show up instead of the pic.?????

loneranger 02-25-2005 11:44 AM

the only way to do that is use php and you will need to have html enabled, i think thats right anyway
