Ray - The Movie

So yeah, I went to see this last night. It was one of the best movies I've seen :) I didn't know Ray was a serious junkie in his early years and Jamie Foxx's acting is superb.

I reccomend you all go see it! :ninja:

I wouldn't spend money to watch it, but if a friend let me borrow it or something of that nature I wouldn't be against seeing it.

It's a great movie, one of which actually details his life pretty well. One of my head managers was watching a special on the film during the creation of the movie and during the time that Ray Charles was alive. The interview went over how Jamie Foxx actually had to learn to play on the same level as Ray Charles before they would permit him to play him in the movie, both vocally and on the piano.

While I am sure this is not a movie for everyone, it is a movie well worth watching.

Ray Charles was actually involved in making the film, I saw a documentary when I was in Egypt o_O

Possibly the same? I missed it sadly, I rather like the music personally. Of course, it's not something I play all the time, though it's relaxing at times :).

I rented the movie through blockbuster online, so it should be at my house in a few days.

Was watching it about a week ago :). Was hoping to see Mr. 3000 though the local Blockbuster didn't even get a shipment of the DVD's yet so they may or may not be available Tuesday. I rather like Bernie Mac and I just had to miss it, my luck heh.
